Welcome to Wikipedia, HurricaneGonzalo! Thank you for
your contributions. I am
Cyclonebiskit and I have been editing Wikipedia for some time, so if you have any questions feel free to leave me a message on
my talk page. Since you seem to have an interest in meteorology, you can also drop a message on any of the related WikiProject pages—
Tropical Cyclones,
Severe Weather, or
Meteorology (though the latter two are far less active)—if you have topic related questions. Additionally, you can also check out

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically produce your username and the date. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! ~ Cyclonebiskit ( chat) 18:16, 19 October 2015 (UTC)
The article Tornadoes of 1977 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}

In your edit summary earlier in the 2015 PHS article, why did you rv that anonymous user saying that Sandra doesn't deserve an expansion? Don't you understand that Sandra broke some records (I think 2) and that the 2015 PHS need to have at least a GA rating soon. Therefore, I rv you. Please explain, I just wanted to know why, Typhoon2013 (talk) 22:12, 28 November 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of reportedly haunted locations in the United States, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mitchell. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You have added multiple references to ground scouring in the December 23 tornado article that are not verifiable. You MUST have source for this type of thing or it will be removed! Only thing that can be confirmed at this time is pavement scouring near Ashland. Please do not add unverifiable information in the future. Sharkguy05 ( talk) 20:07, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Sharkguy05
Those are two completely different meteorological terms. They do not ever mean the same thing. Ground scouring refers to grass and vegetation damage, never asphalt or pavement. Use the word "pavement scouring" to refer to this phenomenon from now on. You'll slowly learn the terminology. Sharkguy05
