This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Brenda Craig, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.journalsoftheheart.com/?page_id=20. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Speedy deletion of Brenda Craig

A tag has been placed on Brenda Craig requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{ hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. - Realkyhick ( Talk to me) 18:41, 20 June 2008 (UTC) reply

A tag has been placed on How to journal, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{ hangon}} on the top of How to journal and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. - Realkyhick ( Talk to me) 19:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. - Realkyhick ( Talk to me) 19:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. - Realkyhick ( Talk to me) 19:09, 20 June 2008 (UTC) reply

Brenda (or Brenda's staff): It's pretty simple. Wikipedia does not allow someone to promote themselves, their business or organization, including a non-profit ministry. That policy is explained here. That's why the Brenda Craig article was deleted. As for How to journal, Wikipedia specifically prohibits "how-to" articles, as explained here. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and not a free web space for someone to promote themselves or their views. Google rankings have absolutely no bearing on the suitability of a subject for a Wikipedia article. All subjects must pass Wikipedia standards for notability, and a person is not likely to be an objective judge of the notability of themselves or an organization they are a part of. That's why we also have policies regarding conflicts of interest. So unfortunately, your articles are not suitable for Wikipedia, and have been or will be deleted. - Realkyhick ( Talk to me) 19:31, 20 June 2008 (UTC) reply
You, as Brenda Craig, can't write an article about yourself, nor can you direct others to since the end result would likely be the same. The purpose of this is to preserve Wikipedia's neutral point of view, and human nature dictates that one rarely has a neutral point of view about oneself or one's colleagues. There are many, many people who attempt to write about themselves, their work colleagues, their businesses (often at the direction of their bosses) and the like, and those articles are routinely deleted in short order. Likewise for how-to articles — they are simply not the type of article one would find in an encyclopedia, and a policy was put in place some time ago that Wikipedia would not have how-to articles for numerous and varied reasons, much of it having to do with different points of view on a how-to subject — can you imagine how many people would have differing views worldwide on "How to find salvation"? In short, there are numerous places on the Internet where you can promote yourself, your ministry, and your views. But Wikipedia simply isn't one of them. - Realkyhick ( Talk to me) 22:40, 20 June 2008 (UTC) reply
