Hello i'm a french player, in my country our sport is calling touch rugby. I work on wikipedia did you know that encyclopedia. We have a problem to name our sport and of course to name the article: Touch rugby, touch football (rugby league).
The principal argument of the touch football (rugby league) is the sport created in australia and in australia you call that sport touch football

- Is there some sort of consensus about labeling shared hill names? For example, there's High Street (Lake District) and Pillar (Lake District) but there's High Seat, Lake District and High Raise, Langdale. Grinner, are you a member of the Hills of Britain group? There's loads of useful information at the Files section [1] and a sort of hillwalking fraternity, especially if you're interested in relative heights and the Marilyns. Precisely. From what you're saying, it is a classification rather than a specific range. That makes its being a proper noun questionable, in proper English. Must be a Scottish thing. Wahkeenah 10:21, 25 October 2005 (UTC)
I notice that you've added acute accents to the text of Buachaille Etive Mor, which I applaud. Two things, however, give me slight cause for concern. Firstly (and most easily solved) the article title doesn't reflect that, and secondly the OS uses different accents at different scales: sometimes acute (1:25 000) and sometimes grave (larger scales). I know some might not be famous enough or whatever, but I've never heard of most of the authors etc., whereas I do know who Stephen Taylor and Michael Chopra are...! Hey mate, I was wondering if you could double check some of the French clubs that have been made. The history is kind of dodgy, and some clubs have like three different names, so its hard to tell who has done what etc.
By the way, great work on all your RL input! I too am trying to help out, but still learning...

I see you've forced the issue by moving all the existing tops in to the main classification, and knifing the 'Minor Tops' article. I think that's rather short sighted - there are half a dozen more which would be candidates of a 'minor tops' which can't really be justified in the main cat. Thanx for the heads up. I've been checking in the last couple of weeks, bout every second day or less. I've been fairly inactive recently due to exams. Last one tomorrow (thank gawd). I've noticed the increasing amount of vandalism on our pages too. I find it hard to believe this is just co-incidence. Hey Grinner. About the recent edits to the English Rugby League. You may want to pick out the bits edited by George Williams that may have a place on that page. Such as the statements that the sport is played in particular demographics. That type of information is very important for those pages. I agree, he probably is just trying to cause trouble, but rugby league is constrained by a demographic in England and I think this information would be very useful for this page. Also, George did not write it in the right place. If you see more information like this, try to look at it objectively, a lot of it will be horse s**t, but some of it may be gold ;) and put it in its correct place. Refer to the Australian and New Zealand pages on how to handle demographics. POds 22:45, 21 November 2005 (UTC)
