Now that I've given them, may I please delete the Consideration for Deletion, and may it please be considered a good article? I worked hard on that page. I just want people to be able to find my site. A address on a sub-domain like comcast is nearly impossible to remember. This really pisses me off. There have been several articles in the press. At October 5, 2006, there where a four pages article in Dagens Næringsliv (The largest business magazine in Norway). Dagens Industri had a large article in May 2006 from the event in Karlstad. You will also find several articles in Morgonbladet in Iceland etc.
It was created by complete mistake, really there should be an easier way to delete these things. Revolutionfan
The reason why I added this page was because he has a page on IMDb, so i thought made him notable. I did not create the page and in no way is affiliated with him. But, I guess if hes not notable enough for him than you can delete the page, I'm NOT a vandaliser. As you can see, from the article for the Prom Wars movie that you guys didnt even have! User:Beccaboo 06 has constantly used Wikipedia has a chatting source. This user has vandalized (and possibly even created) user pages, and talk pages. I saw your post on her talk page warning her, so I thought you could help. I would put it on WP:AIV, but she has no final warning (and hasn't vandalized after it) which is required for posting vandals on that page. RobJ1981 18:21, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Hunty scaff is actually a folk story but only a brief summory and i hope you will realize that because it doesn't exist in any history books does't mean it isn't part of history. This story is an example of a story passed on by word of mouth and somehow has never bin corrupt by computers and is more locally known than other folklore.
I hope i have showed you that this is not simply an attempt to be funny or childish but simply i am trying to share a folk story since it is not very well known.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mooey2 ( talk • contribs)
The reason that there is no source is because it is folklore. Passed by word of mouth from one to another. It may or may not be true as with all folklore but deserves a place in wikipedia.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Mooey2 ( talk • contribs)

- Delete His radio show is on something called the GCN Network (no wikipedia article) which is a tiny internet/satellite radio broadcaster. Browsing the company's webpage [1] it looks like the whole radio network has ten employees and the website gets about 3000 visits per day. It looks like they have 12 shows so the number of listeners to this guys show is probably miniscule (say 300 per day). That sounds like the equivalent of public access TV. Back in June, you participated in a wiki discussion about deleting an article called “Democrat Party (United States).” ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Democrat_Party_%28United_States%29). It was agree to delete this article and redirect it to Democratic Party (United States) -- the real name of the Democratic Party. However, someone has revived the Democrat Party article. Would you care to weigh in on this at that article’s Talk page? I think a redirect is in order in accordance with the decision we reached last June.

Um...If IMDb removes it, then it'll just be gone..I wont lose any sleep over it. But, most likely you wont and you waisted allt his time having so much towards this actor that you dont know.
Wow...whats your proof that hes not in a movie? Some kid came on an encyclopedia site and said he was in a COMPLETELY different movie, but some guy couldnt prove he wasnt, but the other couldnt prove he was? Yeah, thats really going wow them. But, probably the person that told IMDB about him, had better proof than I did, and thats why they found out he was atually in the movie. And, ya..why would I care what YOU think about me. 1: I dont even know you, and 2: For all I know your probably some creep online (I'm not insulting you, I'm just saying). Also....Does Wikipedia even pay you to spend so much time of your life on here? This is the quetion that haunts me (ha ha).
Answer this: What proof do you have, that says hes NOT in the movie. Because th proff that i have that he IS in the movie, is him being on the castlist, so...
OK, Anyway, hes on the castlist, you can take him off Wikipedia and I really dont care. I have a life, so I'm atualyl gong to get off the computer (you should try it too). Hae a good weekend.

Hi there. After your accusation at
Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Polar_Design that I was operating an
WP:SPA I naturally thought I'd check out your logs and talk page, since some of the other editors who voted Delete have a history of disruptive deletion. However, I've actually found that a lot of your edits and interactions have been fair and balanced, and I'm impressed at how you have treated obnxious behavior (i.e., with warnings, patience, etc.).
Therefore, I'm doubly surprised, due not only to the above, but to the fact that you haven't afforded the full deletion thread referenced above the attention it deserves and that you've demonstrated you're capable of providing. Again, I don't dispute your opinion on notability, but I do think that jumping to conclusions based on thin premises rather than the actual facts when making accusations like
WP:SPA is an unfortunate turn given your otherwise exemplary editing.
Thanks for your time, and stay well.

Certainly appropriate, though I guess if the user takes the tag off we have to go to MFD just like with articles.
Which is probably how it should be, since PROD is for uncontested deletions (as almost all of them will turn out to be, I suspect, since almost all of them appear to be hit-and-run postings). At least the objection would be a sign that they're still around. Who knows? Maybe it would motivate some actual edits. -- Calton | Talk 05:23, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

We understand your concerns of Wikipedia becoming a venue for advertising, and thereby diminishing it's value. This is not our intention at all, and we apologize if it came across as such. We feel that as one of the world’s largest camera stores, and a company that is constantly in the news, especially in photo related publications, it does serve the interest of Wikipedia to have us listed as well.
B&H has been featured in the New York Times on numerous occasions (June 19 2003 issue to name one such date), New York Post (August 22nd, 2003 and Nov 19th 2005), The New York Magazine (April 24th 2006) and the Rolling Stone Magazine. We have also been featured in such international news forums as the Dagbladet.no (a popular Norwegian newspaper) and Ziff Davis Media called us one of the worlds largest photo stores, and a site "well worth visiting" (August 29, 2005). When you mentioned you were from Chicago it reminded me that I actually do know a Chicago camera club that uses us frequently. The Chicago Area Camera Club Association (chicameraclubs.org), link to us and have been shopping by us for years.
Since moving to out current location, B&H has worked closely with the New York City Visitors Bureau, and have even founded our own tourism department to help the over 1.5 million tourists we accommodate annually. It has gotten to the point where we have become an integral part of many tourists visit to the Big Apple. We co-market ourselves closely with the empire state building, Waterway, Circle Line, Madame Tussauds, City Sites and Skyride to name a few of our tourism partners. It is not uncommon to have visitors in our store who have no intention on actually purchasing anything, but come merely to observe our unique store experience. We also have travel trade shows to make tour operators from around the world become aware of B&H as an added value to their clients. In fact many European travel guides list us and even add "do not miss B&H".
TV stations use us as a unique destination, and human interest story. Just the other day we had visitors from UK iTV, the largest TV station in the UK, do a feature on us as a great shopping destination.
We also have a 60 Minutes special airing this year pre Chrismas, as well as a similar piece done by a German TV station, which will discuss our Global following.

Hi there; just a friendly question. You (correctly) put in a redirect here, and you did it before I could finish the article. And I am a speed reader. How did you do that? Does Chicago get articles before the UK does ??!! Not criticising even remotely. Just asking.-- Anthony.bradbury 18:40, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
What the fuck, bitch? Carlos Mencia is offensive and you know it. He deserves to be put under offensive, when you look up the dictionary for offensive you see a picture of Carlos Mencia. Oops, thanks for the clarification... I had a feeling it was like that, but I couldn't find anything that really made it clear. Your message and the notice on the template use are now clear enough, but probably it should be explicitly mentioned on the WP:CSD criteria that {{ db-repost}} should NOT be used for previously speedy deleted comments, shoudln't it? I'll take a peek at the talk page for it. Cheers! -- dockingman talk 22:22, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

I am sorry. I have not read the rules and I was in depression of a friend fight, so I thought it might be a good thing to say that you're not the only one with friend problems. I am sorry, and thanks for your concern. Although I read the "what wikipedia is not" page, I do not understand all of them like "wikipedia is not a paper enclopedia" so maybe I will make the mistake again. Again, I am sorry. If I make another mistake again, please tell me. I will do my best to fix my mistakes. Thank you. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by GuessHere ( talk • contribs) 03:54, 7 December 2006 (UTC).
Obviously you know nothing about the entertainment business. Only above line producers get credited on IMDB, but there are countless other producers who actually do the work. Quit hating on Brian because he is an exec/producer at a major studio. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 63.164.145.198 ( talk) 05:04, 7 December 2006 (UTC).
Sorry about my apparent vandalism. Only now, in retrospect, do I realize that I was making a talk page instead of adding to one that looked like it already existed. I had been linked to it from Wikipedia talk:Bad Jokes and Other Deleted Nonsense. Again I apologize for my error and assure you that I'll do my best to not allow it to occur anymore. On a side note, props for the quick reflexes - under a minute is indeed impressive! 64.90.198.6 23:41, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi Fan-1967, thanks for messaging me. I don't know a whole lot about the Bedford Blues (they are in National Division One, which is below the Guinness Premiership/ Heineken Cup), but I don't think any current second division players are notable enough for an article. However, I'm not sure when this guy played for Bedford..(80s..according to that article?) But I did a quick couple of google searches, and nothing really came up at all. He may be notable, but really, I can't find anything on the internet, so you should maybe go for AFD. Cheers. Cvene64 07:16, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Excuse me but I don't appreciate the deletion of a page I just created. I still have support for my page. Also I have just looked at the xbox page and realized that it indeed has incorrect information. If you don't believe me just look at it under the "Modding" section. One instance is that you don't need a soldering iron to flash the TSOP on a xbox v1.0 - 1.5 as stated in the page. I still don't believe it is fair others can post false information while I can't post a page about a real person which I can backup, and there believe's. If you don't believe me about the xbox page just take a look at the xbox-scene.com webpage. One of the most reliable page's on xbox information beside's Microsoft's website which doesn't include information on the process of "modding" a xbox. I am starting to believe this is very unfair treatment.
Actually Fan-1967 that was replying to my problems on the talk page of the page I created. And this is how i thought I could contact him sent I pressed the link that referred to sending him a message. If I am wrong for sending him a message then excuse me. Ace 012 22:29, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
I already stated how I can prove it. I said vist the cms.k12.nc.us website. Under the Phillip O. Berry website he will be listed as one of the teachers. I am not saying I don't care about the rules I am just trying to follow them. I just feel that I am not being treated right because others can post false information but I cannot post a page about someone's believes. Just tell me why?

Hi Fan-1967, Thanks for your welcoming words and for the information re. requesting deletion. I have a feeling that Wikipedia could become addictive!!
With all due respect, "We do not care about your tutor. We do not care about your sister." could come across as being rude. I have been working for thousands of years and I have been everywhere and I have interviewed everyone under the planet -- including two sitting presidents and some really neurotic film directors. I don't list my pen name because I don't want people to know it's me writing the articles. I just thought I would put in an entry. If you don't think I'm noteworthy enough, just delete it and maybe one day when I am noteworthy enough, I'll have an entry. Someone totally unconnected??? Please, I read articles on people in Wikipedia everyday. I know some fo these people and I know damn well they wrote the articles on themselves. Part of becoming notable is creating your own notability. It's about marketing. It's selling a product. The product I happen to be selling is me. I have done a lot of things that a lot of people have not gotten to do or never will. And, after my book is published, maybe I will be considered "notable" enough.
By chance, was this site created by a bunch of Mensans? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Leslie Brown ( talk • contribs) 05:56, 11 December 2006 (UTC).
You call it vanity, I call it self-promotion. I have discovered in the 16 some-odd laborous years of working as news hack ... we are mostly under appreciated, overworked and underpaid. And, if we don't toot our own horns (pardon the cliche), no one else will.
I am hardworking, humble, and I deserve the recognition for a long-standing career of excellence that has gotten little in the way of recognition.
Now, if I am not "notable" enough now ... don't worry, I will be.
Soon.
Just keep an eye out.
BTW, Despite the tone of the message, I am not particularly upset about this. Assertive, yes. Upset, no. Life is too short. And, besides, my time will come.
Thanks,
kpb —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Leslie Brown ( talk • contribs) 06:04, 11 December 2006 (UTC).
What are you looking for in an entry on Wikipedia? If you citations of thousands of articles I've written, internationally radio broadcasts I've done ... I believe I am notable. So, what does it take to get you guys to agree with me? Would you prefer I hire someone impartial to write it up?
Thanks,
kpb
Actually, I am a big fan of Wikipedia and wouldn't mind volunteering to write some impartial articles of my own. I am a news "guru" of sorts and I could write any number of generic articles pertaining to news gathering, the broadcasting industry, etc.
I'm also a history buff and I am quite well-read on a number of topics. What can I do to be useful?
Thanks,
kpb
I edited the article to one paragraph.
How's that?
whatdaya think?
I have written probably a thousand + articles published in small-town daily newspapers, most notably the Cleburne Times-Review and the Weatherford Democrat. As for my pen name, the reason I write under a pen name is because I don't want it to be recognized by the corporate types that run newsradio these days who may call it a conflict of interest. Truth be known, my first love is writing. So, revealing my pen name is not worth an article on Wikipedia. If I did, that would probably validate the whole "notability" thing. Of course, once the book is published, ... the aforementioned pen name will be a moot point because at that point, I won't even sort of care.
As for the local reporter thing, we're talking about Dallas, Texas, not Butte, Montana. Dallas is market number 5 which is about to become market number 4 thanks to the population boom and that means my fellow reporter hacks and I are often on national radio covering everything from Exxon-mobile quarterly earnings meetings with stockholders where a bunch of people wearing only barrels and yelling "DON'T FUND JUNK SCIENCE" damn near started a riot and I covered the whole President Bush thing when he was here trying to get our Republican governor re-elected. I interviewed him for the first time when he was running for governor of Texas and I was an intern. Working in Dallas means I have gotten to interview folks such as Madeline Albright, Pres. Clinton, former VP Al Gore, Senators Kay Bailey Hutchison (we call her "Kay Baby") and John Cornyn. I've interviewed Bob Dole, John McCain, former Senator Phil Graham ... blah blah blah ... and, I once even got to stick my mic in the face of Sen. Ted Kennedy.
It was a hoot.
So, does this make me notable??? Dunno. I would love to see not only me, but some of my fellow hacks get some recognition for what they have done. It's a brutal business and I know a lot of people I certainly consider noteworthy. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Leslie Brown ( talk • contribs) 06:46, 11 December 2006 (UTC).

Three of the most popular shows internationally of all time:
Baywatch (blaggg) Dynasty (blaggggggg)
and .....
DALLAS (who shot JR???????)
Don't see any internationally famous shows that even come close to touching Dallas (nothing called "New York, New York" nothing called "Los Angeles" and no shows called "Chicago" ... though you guys have your own Broadway musical and movie, I will give you that" —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Leslie Brown ( talk • contribs) 07:15, 11 December 2006 (UTC).
Bill Parcells may be one of the most obnoxious coaches in the history of obnoxious coaches ...
Jerry Jones may be one of the most obnoxious owners in the history of obnoxious owners ...
and
Terrell Owens is wearing a Dallas jersey ....
but ...
The Cowboys? America's team.
I mean, Emmitt Smith number 22 ... who wears THREE Cowboys superbowl rings, who not only beat out Walter Payton for the all time rushing record ... he also did a mean, mean mambo on Dancing with the Stars that took him all the way to number 1.
The Cowboys are the number 1 team of all time ... As I recall, LA doesn't even HAVE an NFL team, and I can't remember the last time the Chicago Bears did anything worth mentioning. As for the New Yorks teams, well ... they're pretty cool.
But, I leave you with this question ... Whatever happened to William "The Refrigerator" Perry and Jim McMahon since the 1988 superbowl ... Huh? Huh??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Leslie Brown ( talk • contribs) 07:22, 11 December 2006 (UTC).
