I suggest you review the Wikipedia guidelines on external links and reliable sources. Blogs are rarely suitable as either, and adding links too your own webiste is also frowned upon. Most editors would coinsider this to be unacceptable. [1] I think it's probably worthwhile so I won't delete it, but please avoid similar edits. The basic idea with links is that they should only be to materials which Wikipedia, or its sister projects, can't host. Will Beback talk 20:23, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to
Gene Ammons.
Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See
the external links guideline and
spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the
nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including
Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you.

When adding links to material on external sites, as you did to
Donald Byrd, please ensure that the external site is not
violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as
YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be
blocked from editing.
If you believe the linked site is not violating copyright with respect to the material, then you should do one of the following:
If the material is available on a different site that satisfies one of the above conditions, link to that site instead. As you are evidently involved with the website in question, I also suggest you read WP:COI and WP:SPAM. Gyrofrog (talk) 16:44, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
The article Ciné+ Classic has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not notable. Possible hoax as I get no non-Wikipedia results for the name
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot ( talk) 10:01, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
