Thanks for uploading Image:Gomez outwest.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Thanks for uploading Image:Janeway original.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Hi - why did you remove the section about Max from
Secondary characters in Calvin and Hobbes without any comment on the edit? Max is definitely a valid character within the strip. --

Hi. Thanks for adding the categories to the Jostaberry article. I'm not a very expert wikipedian, so I hope you don't mind if I ask for a little help on another couple of issues in this article... You'll see that I've used the German words for blackcurrant and gooseberry in the article. It would be nice if when clicked these words linked to the appropriate entries in the German Wikipedia (there are already English-language links further up the page, so nothing is lost), but I don't know how to do this. Also, I'm not sure how to create a taxobox for interspecific hybrids. Any help or advice you could give on either of these items would be very much appreciated. Thank you. Falconhawk (cricket) has been proposed for deletion. An editor felt the subject might not be notable enough for an article. Please review Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability for the relevant concerns. An example of notability guidelines can be found at Wikipedia:Notability (websites). If you can improve the article to address these concerns, please do so.
If no one objects to the deletion within five days by removing the "prod" notice, the article may be deleted without further discussion. If you remove the prod notice, the deletion process will stop, but if an editor is still not satisfied that the article meets Wikipedia guidelines, it may be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion for consensus. Just a heads-up, since I hated to undo all your work in wikifying the disambiguation page Hollow (and because you probably aren't too thrilled about it, either): disambiguation pages are never wikified, per the Manual of Style for Disambiguation Pages (see the second bullet under "Individual Entries"). This is because DAB pages are for directing lost users to the article they were looking for, and not for exploring or explaining a topic. They are one of the very few types of pages that aren't wikified. Cheers! Sanguinity 20:06, 28 December 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for testing your editing skills at the
Wikipedia Sandbox - it is important for new users to learn how to use Wikipedia and its functions; however when editing their please do not remove the Sandbox header because this is vital in letting other users aware that they can freely edit the page and they are at the right place for their editing tests too. Hello Egpetersen, I found you placed an 'unsourced' tag on this article in November, 2006. If you look at its history, you may see that some users systematically eliminated critical views of this enterprise, thereby omitting the references, too. I explained this on the talk page and reinstated the latest critical version with some added remarks, and an extra reference. Not being a native English speaker, I always feel a little unsure of myself doing this. Please have a look at the article and see if the tag may be removed. Soczyczi 09:29, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

I know this is going to sound annoying, but every attempt to make it not sound that way in the past made matters worse, so: PLEASE put an edit summary in when tagging articles! You recently tagged Foto-Mem with a wikify, but I have no idea what you would like me to do to fix it. I can't know unless you tell me! Maury 21:28, 25 June 2007 (UTC)

Hey there, your removal of {{ DEFAULTSORT}} (in some of the bio articles you are adding categories to, like Lisa de Cazotte) is inappropriate; perhaps you are unaware that it does the name thing as listing "|De Cazotte, Lisa" after every single category, and that its use is preferred. Hi, I deleted your copy & paste move of Truganini (song) and moved the article instead. To fix the name of the article one should use the "move" button instead of copy & paste, also for GFDL reasons. See meta:Help:Moving a page . Also a request, could you please use edit summaries, that really helps other editors who have articles on their watchlist. I see you've put Now is the month of maying in 16th c songs- technically OK, but many English Madrigals, including some of the most important by Morley, were published after that date (some as late as 1622) See my comment on the category talk page. Is it really sensible to split 'em?? I think not. Bob aka Linuxlad 11:50, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Image:TheFlamingLips-YoshimiBattlesThePinkRobots.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Thanks for uploading Image:Verve pipe self titled album.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kellie's Castle, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page William Smith ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
