Welcome

Information icon Hello, FriedrichAirConditioning. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{ request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you.-- VViking Talk Edits 16:28, 26 July 2021 (UTC) reply

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of name and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{ unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{ unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. -- Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:14, 26 July 2021 (UTC) reply

I would like to donate copyrighted materials such as text and updated logo/image(s) to update Friedrich's Wikipedia to reflect accuracy provided by Friedrich Air Conditioning. Is there a way to update Wikipedia to reflect this?

Hi, the first concern is that you need to change your username, as it is promotional and indicates that the Wikipedia account belongs to a company, which is not allowed. Please see the information above on how to change your username in the box with a stop sign in it.
You also need to post below if you are being paid by any company (like Friedrich Air Conditioning, or someone contracted by FAC) to edit Wikipedia. If you are receiving any money or compensation for your edits, you need to disclose it.
Once these concerns are sorted out, we can explore the possibility of donating images and text. Z1720 ( talk) 15:24, 28 July 2021 (UTC) reply
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Changed the user name so it is not affiliated with the company. I am also not receiving any more or compensation for my edits.

Decline reason:

If you work for the company, you are a paid editor, you do not have to be specifically paid to edit. There is no need to unblock you if your only goal here is to make edits related to your conflict of interest. If you want to be a general contributor, please tell what topics you will edit about. I am declining your request. 331dot ( talk) 14:37, 7 October 2021 (UTC) reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{ unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I would like to donate copyright materials (text and images) to be able to reflect accurate information from Friedrich's website to the corresponding Wikipedia page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EdF123 ( talkcontribs)

We can discuss this once you are unblocked, but Wikipedia is primarily interested in what independent reliable sources say about a topic, not what it wants to say about itself. 331dot ( talk) 14:37, 7 October 2021 (UTC) reply
