I've moved it back to your userpage so you can work on it. Then, when it contains an explanation of notability, it can be moved back to the original location without fear of speedy deletion. Thanks, Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 05:00, 6 June 2006 (UTC).

Thank you for contacting me. I reviewed the situation and in fact my {{test2}} template seems a bit inappropriate. I've replaced it with {{NPOV0-n}}. On a related note, I patrol RC using VandalProof2, which currently only allows test warnings to be placed on talk pages upon reversions. I hope that the other templates become available soon, because I often have to use {{test1}} for POV reversions. :-/ Thanks again for your feedback. Best regards.-- Hús ö nd 15:20, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for your contribution. I would suggest leaving it at Terminus Panama. Most users refer to it by that. The RTL's published schedules call it Terminus Panama and not Brossard-Panama.

You nominated Annette Richardson Dinwoodey for deletion. I think she might be notable as a singer, even if her other accomplishments are not themselves notable. -- Eastmain 04:14, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
Hey man, you added a bit to the page mentioned above, and can you remove the speedy-deletion tag. I'm now allowed to remove it, but you are, because you are not the creator of the article, and it's even more important that it doesn't get deleted now that there is you editing it also, adding more important information. And I didn't even tell you to before it either. So can you remove the top two tags please, its for the good of the article. Thanks. MAZITO - Tuesday, 2nd January, 2007; 03:58 (GMT)
A quick check from the deleted archives reveals no useful content other than sandbox testing. You may wish to begin the article from scratch. - Cheers, Mailer Diablo 13:41, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Looks like you did a great job with it. My initial reaction to that article was that it was an ad for a snake in the grass who works with big corporations. Your research proved my hunch right. It deserves to stay but will remain on my watchlist. Ronbo76 22:00, 3 January 2007 (UTC)
Well, if you say so - I thought there are too few common points in the bios to be sure.-- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus | talk 15:53, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
I have made a Spanish version of the page (BIHS), and I have pictures like what you asked for, so where about on the article should I put them then?
Thank you for taking these pictures. Please visit http://commons.wikimedia.org and upload the images there. The images will then be available for use in any of Wikipedia's different languages. You can then use the images in both the Spanish and English Wikipedias. To see how to add images to a page, take a look at the code for any page which includes a photograph. -- Eastmain 20:15, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Regarding your suggestion that I remove copyrighted material from this article, I'd be happy to review it for copyright problems, and to make changes as needed, but the template explicitly says Do not edit this page until an administrator has resolved this issue.. -- John Broughton | Talk 23:11, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
May I ask why you removed my prod but didn't add any new content?

Hey. Thank you for your message. I definitely agree there is a problem. I have tried to assume good faith in this mess, but on the other hand it seems like there has been an attack organized against this record label. I'm pretty sure all of these meet at least one criterion of WP:MUSIC, and some, such as The Obsessed, rather obviously meet several of the criteria. I'll look into the rest later. Warhorse and Striborg might meet the criteria for inclusion, at least by now, but are probably not as notable as the ones currently listed on AFD. Thanks, Prolog 22:13, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, it is, but I really do hope we don't start finding bottles of it in supermarkets. Seriously, this article makes it sound as though it's some kind of milk like cow's milk - and as though we're "milking" humans. Keeping a special diet etc. The wording of the article is a little ridiculous, and I genuinely found the special dieting of humans a little amusing. SMC 09:13, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I had orriginally planned to do so myself but after seeing the content in the storm article I had second thoughts... I am opposed to throwing away information. In the cases with which I am most familiar, bank histories, some of this information is hard to find but can be of use to historians writing about an era, a city, etc.
The page is somewhere between a regular page and a listing. One could turn it into alisting and then link to pages for each bank, but in almost all cases the resulting per-bank page would be a stub that would never get additional material.

cheers for sorting out the above page and related pages to clarify exactly what they were. I tagged the for deletion because as they stood, in my opinion they were unsalvagable. I still think the articles are fairly poor (from the original author, not you!) and do they merit inclusion? Well I guess thats for Afd to decide, however at least they now know what the articles are talking about! RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 22:44, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Another editor, Ccscott ( talk · contribs · count) removed the {{ prod}} from Kepler (band) with the comment: "Removed prod: went on national tours - satisfies WP:MUSIC". I agree with Ccscott ( talk · contribs) that Kepler (band) passes WP:MUSIC. -- Eastmain 21:20, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Sr. and Jr. change. I is Sr. and II is Jr. until I dies, then II becomes Sr. and III becomes Jr. Its odd and leads to confusion, thats why you may find references to different people as Senior vs Junior over time. I had the same problem with the descendants of Jay Gould, since some names go V and VI. -- Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) 02:23, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
Ahhh, I see now, thanks for the examples. I will try and write or telephone a Hearst scholar and see what the whole lineage is. I will telephone the museum now. -- Richard Arthur Norton (1958- ) 17:49, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

That's all well and good, but what about the notability issue? Is your action a determination that the school passes WP:BIO? All that's left are the school colors, town and nickname. There's not even a hint of an assertion of notability. Would you be offended if I db-bio'd it?
-- Butseriouslyfolks 01:38, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
I looked at the sources, personally I cannot determine the credibility of the website and myself cannot withdraw the process unilaterally according to rule. But if it is credible I think more editors will write keep on the AfD page. Wooyi 03:10, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

There can and will never be anything to add to the Egypt at the 1972 Summer Olympics page. I really think it should be deleted. The entire article is one statement: Egypt competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, West Germany. The North African nation made its Olympic debut in 1912.
What good is it to keep this article?

I've removed the {{ prod}} notice from Forrest Hill, New South Wales. If you disagree with a proposed deletion via a prod notice, the prod template may be removed by any editor. An AfD is a call to arms however, where the debate is opened concerning the future of the nominated article. The article is safe now, unless somebody takes it further. -- Longhair\ talk 08:26, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Can you tell me exactly what is happening with the project, with citation? There was an old release date set for February 9, but production never became underway. There is no activity whatsoever on this film, thus it's not guaranteed to be made if it's stuck in development hell. — Erik ( talk • contrib • review) - 23:45, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
We plan on changing the fact that the info out there (in English) is so scarce, but have not had the time to properly put a decent website together just yet. So, my point is... I believe that having a more extensive entry here provides a valuable service to the many fans who seek further information about him, but do not have enough of a handle on the Portuguese language to understand the information that can be found on Brazilian sites. It further makes sense, that I should be allowed to expand on these entries, as there is no better source for accurate details on the trajectory of an artist as the ones coming from the persons who are personally familiar with his history. This is especially true because, in hopes of concealing Taiguara’s work/messages as they struggled over political disagreements, the militaries manipulated the media to publish untrue accounts of his whereabouts, mental health and even his death (in the 70’s!), when he was very well alive and breathing… Because of this, there still is to this day, quite a bit of confusion as to what really happened during the years that he was not performing in Brazil. And these weren’t merely “rumors”, but articles and news that were published on (supposedly) well respected media sources. In this type of situation, “verifiable”, takes on a whole new meaning, doesn’t it?! But that another discussion all on it’s own that I don’t wish (or have the time to! visit right now.
If Hojimachong still believes that I should refrain from contributing, I will comply. Yet if others feel that my contributions would enrich the article, rather than “tarnishing it”, I’ll consider continuing. Please let me know you thoughts on this. I may not be very proficient with Wikipedia’s customs and (especially) the formats yet, but please understand that the work I’m doing is much more time consuming than editing just this one site. Parallel projects have kept me very busy and I apologize if my constant editing here, in attempts to master how the page should really look like, is bothersome to some of you who know the system quite well.
If I may comment on another question that was raised: Notability is definitely not an issue in this case. Taiguara’s songs were quite notable radio hits from 68 to about 73, two of them held the #1 spot in the charts for their subsequent years, while some others (of his songs) made the top 10 and 50. He also won first place in some of the historic festivals that gave birth to what the world now knows as “MPB”. He has been included in albums called things such as “The great pianists of Brazil” (I noticed someone removed the pianist category, but I believe it should remain) and has one album titled “The winner of Festivals”. Although he had almost 100 songs that were never released due to censorship, and suffered absurd amounts of boycotting, he still achieved a number of hits to put many other so called “celebs” to shame.
The one consensus we seem to have reached here is the fact that the article should remain, yes? So, the lingering question for me is, how do we go about removing the “proposed for deletion” tag?
Thank you and sorry for the long text! Imyra Imyra 13:08, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
And thanks for the tips Eastman!
I'm glad Scotty Holt is staying after I proposed its deletion (really, I think you haven't lived till you've heard the Jackie McLean Quartet with S. Holt), and I don't intend to contest its staying (see previous parenthetical observation), but perhaps you could clarify the criteria for me. I can't interpret any of the criteria at Wikipedia:Notability (music) as justifying inclusion if the musician played with someone notable. Since I'm open to the possibility that I may be misinterpreting, I thought I'd ask. If I am, perhaps the criteria could be made more specific (I have left a similar request with Bubba_hotep). John FitzGerald 14:24, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks. I probably skipped that criterion because it starts "Contains at least one member" and sounded like a criterion for a group only. That criterion might perhaps usefully be made more restrictive – it seems to justify an article about the Clarke Road Secondary School concert and stage bands, which back in the 60s had Graham Lear on drums; he's since played for long periods with a few notable bands, such as Santana. And that would probably imply that there could be an article about me as a member of the notable concert band. John FitzGerald 18:17, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for alerting me. I have left a note on the talk page of the user who added the inflammatory paragraph asking him not to claim in edit summaries that I am endorsing the content (not that anybody's endorsement really matters here - that and a dollar will buy you a soda). I have also added a comment on the article talk page asking all editors involved to take a look at WP:BLP and a note on the talk page of the IP referring him to WP:NLT. Thanks for pointing it out. -- BigDT 02:03, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
I would be interested in your opinions as to the edits that occured today (please see the article's talkpage). Ronbo76 21:55, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
Hey dude,
I NEVER vandalised the Chip Magazine or Wikipedia. I wouldn't dream of anything of that sort, let alone doing it. I am a regular user of Wikipedia for my research and I enjoy the user-created content. My intention is simply to add a touch here or there to provide a finish to the document or to check for spelling errors so that Wikipedia looks more professional. You've DEFINITELY mistaken me for someone else.
I, like, totally empathise with the Wikipedia vision that information should be free and freely accessible, and would like to support the project in any way possible, to chip in with my bit.
I use a lot of shared computers in my university, maybe that's the reason you've flagged my IP.
Thanks for your concern for Wikipedia anyway, together we CAN build a better Wikipedia and a better world.
Thanking you, Sincerely Yours, Arvind Ranganath.-- 59.92.130.229 16:58, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I'm curious as to why you replaced the proposed deletion tag on General McLane Lancer Ledger. At the time you replaced that tag, it had been in place uncontested for more than 5 days, and thus should have been deleted. While I don't necessarily disagree with a merge and I don't think process should be followed for the sake of following process, I still think deletion is the best option. My apologies for not noticing this sooner - I'm not sure how it slipped my attention. Natalie 01:56, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
