Information icon Hello, I'm Binksternet. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Henri Coandă International Airport because it appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a " soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Hello, Mr. Binksternet! Thank you for your message. I saw your past work here on Wikipedia, all my respect for you! At a first glance you're right, the quote inserted there in "Taxi" sub-line on Henri Coandă International Airport and the reference to the main link seems to be promotional, as you have written. But if you'll have the time to read that article, you can see there lots of unique details, hard to find for anyone, even more so for a stranger who must use a service that is far away from a similar service in a civilized country... If all those details could be found elsewhere, it would be this article/the news with a great pleasure, but unfortunately that is the only place... I hate spam, self-promotion where it's not permitted, but I thought there wasn't other source...

If you keep your opinion after reading of that unique article, than please accept my apologies in advance... All the best for you!

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.  You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{ unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{ unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. Request reason:

I'm sorry if my username seems to give the impression that this account represents a group, organization or website... If you have the time to verify (a simple search in Google or other search engine) you'll see easy my real name: Doru Badetchi... I'm alone (nor a group), without a company or other kind of organization, my actual blog is a WordPress Website about Article Marketing in the main. I think "doruman" chosen can't match with your examples as Promotional names like "Secretary of the XY Foundation" or "Mark at WidgetsUSA" etc.... I thought to create a Wikipedia account to contribute at something that seems to be a detailed encyclopedia online. I have some knowledge in different domains and I think I can bring a drop in the ocean of universal knowledge. I know, during the time you have had lots of spammers, promoters, trolling or other kind of these inappropriate habits with what means Wikipedia. But I think to give someone a chance to share something and then to compare his work is better than to judge the seeming... Please excuse-me if my tone is inadequate... In a particular case - my first intervention. Maybe it's not so easy to know, but many citizens from different countries who use aircraft as means of transport in places like Romania, Bulgaria or lands emerged from the former USSR - how many lack of information they have there about Taxi services (many times was paid amounts as Euro 100 or even more for services having Euro 5-7 as value), with the big differences in rates of change of their money in that national currency, by choosing a suitable hotel, or a reliable other service of transportation. From this reason I thought to use a minimal, but useful info about smartphone viable applications (with which I have not a connection or interest) that make life more easier of a visitor... Please excuse-me, but if you can't accept "doruman" as username (the next thing I'll do: to present my real data in the edit page, when I fully understand how can I do this, without violating any of the policies of Wikipedia), so is my desire, then I will remain a simple, optional user of your great source - Wikipedia... Thank you very much for your time, all the best! Doruman ( talk) 12:30 pm, Today (UTC+1)

Decline reason:

Procedural decline; no new username requested. Yunshui  12:43, 13 May 2013 (UTC) reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{ unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

The username "Doruman" may have been fine - until the point where you linked to the website www.doruman-business.com ... at that moment, it became promotional, and therefore violates the username, promoting and external links policies. Remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a how-to travel guide. Sorry, but you are not considered to be a reliable source for information and referencing. And in the blocking notice it does say "group, organization or website", so it is a correct block. Peridon ( talk) 12:35, 13 May 2013 (UTC) reply
Quite a lot of people want to 'share things with others'. It usually gets regarded as advertising here, I'm afraid. Peridon ( talk) 13:20, 13 May 2013 (UTC) reply
