Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is " Jeff Dean returning to edit: editing restrictions".Thank you. tedder ( talk) 03:29, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
Hello there, I saw your note on deletion of the photo I added on Twitch's page at the request of he and his wife. I was unsure how particular Wiki was with crediting, so added the credit in a couple of places to ensure you would be happy. I respect that you would like a photo with no glasses, however I don't understand putting back up an outdated photo. They want Metal Mulisha removed since he left that group, but I see it was added back in to the companies. I have asked Susie Stenberg to have the photographer send images to your Wikipedia upload service via email rather than trying to do it via the upload service. Perhaps that will solve the issue. Sorry for any inconvenience. I definitely felt that Wiki would want the page to be correct and timely, so hopefully you can help the Stenbergs get their info updated. Thanks for your time. Dovelyone ( talk) 03:41, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
I noticed you reverted a US English speller. Shouldn't the section Motorcycle components#Tires actually be spelled Tyres for internal consistency? Brianhe ( talk) 01:42, 29 June 2011 (UTC)
![]() | On 29 June 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article List of fastest production motorcycles, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the competition to build the fastest production motorcycle raged for over a century, and then ended in a truce? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Hallo Sir I am the person who changed the List of fastest production motorcycles Page Last Night ..I looked at your comments regarding the problems with those changes But I want to ask whether the Ducati Desmosedici RR Record of 190.1 mph and the BMW S1000RR Production 1000cc class record at BUB Speed trials can be included or not? Thank you once again Your work on the Hayabusa page is phenomenal..yours sincerely--Shas Panja
I am trying to get the content up for Loaded Gun Customs using only reliable sources and removing all copy and pasted content. This is something i am helping a friend with and did not realize that things were completely word for word from other sources. Thank you for your help...Any additional comments on what i have changed and the references I have added would be great....

Dennis,
You recently removed my links to the official BMW chartered F800 riders site. This is, unlike most groups and forums, actually sanctioned under BMW. I believe the link should be allowed as it provides immense knowledge specifically and only into the F800 series motorcycles that no other site can provide.
Avboden ( talk) 20:05, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
What we really should be doing is finding independent reliable sources. If you can cite books, magazines and other reputable media with facts to go in the article, that is much more of an improvement than adding a link at the end.
The appropriate place to submit the link to the F800 forum is Open Directory Project at http://www.dmoz.org . -- Dennis Bratland ( talk) 20:26, 8 July 2011 (UTC)

![]() | On 13 July 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article BMW F650CS, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the 2001 BMW F650CS motorcycle's offbeat, " iMac-inspired" styling was meant to attract non-motorcyclists of the extreme sports generation? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Hi Dennis, I've reviewed your nomination of Harley-Davidson XR-750 and have a small quibble with the hook. Could you look at my comment at T:TDYK? Thanks. Crisco 1492 ( talk) 23:50, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
We have a trivial detail fetishist alert at Honda Z50A (e.g. this) so perhaps you might want to keep it on your watchlist. -- Biker Biker ( talk) 17:27, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
![]() | On 18 July 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Harley-Davidson XR-750, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Evel Knievel's preferred stunt bike, the Harley-Davidson XR-750 (pictured), has won the most AMA Races? Just a question about the non notable family members...I understand spouses and children are more often than not, "non-notable". Their achievments typically do not meet their parents notability. So, how do you determine if the spouse and/or children should be included? If you look back to when I created the Bubba Blackwell page, you can tell that I copied Evel Knievel's info box and replaced Evel's info with Bubba's bio. Since Evel had spouse/children and the template existed, I filled in the lines for Bubba. Obviously, Robbie Knievel has fame, but Evel's other children are not notable, nor was his wives. Not a big deal, and it makes sense that it's not included...but again, who gets mentioned and who doesn't? Docob5 ( talk) 19:52, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
Both Knievel's wives are notable and relevant because of the Cesar's Palace wedding, and the restraining order. Kelly Knievel is relevant for overseeing his father's legacy and performing as a boy, and Robbie Knievel is notable in his own right. Probably Tracey and Alicia Knievel's names should be deleted unless it is somehow necessary to identify them by name in order to make sense of the article. -- Dennis Bratland ( talk) 20:04, 18 July 2011 (UTC)
The reason I changed the XR-750 sentence from preferred "ride" to preferred "jump bike" was Knievel was a vehicle connoisseur and his preferred ride was likely his Stutz. So, I'm not sure if there's a better way to phrase the sentence? If not, I'm good with the current revision. Docob5 ( talk) 22:56, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
Anyway you're probably right that "preferred ride" won't do. -- Dennis Bratland ( talk) 00:21, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Vectrix#New Vectrix has citation issues ... One is a Web forum, one is an unrelated user-submitted YouTube clip, and one is a company press release reprinted by a random spamsite. Plus my favorite grammar error: it's instead of its. I'm planning to come back in later today and clean up the section, but it's likely to end up unreferenced. — Brianhe ( talk) 23:09, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Keep an eye on Norton Dominator as we have an editor who doesn't seem to want to play nicely - especially re-introducing trivial content that I have deleted e.g. this. I don't want to trip 3RR by deleting it once again. -- Biker Biker ( talk) 23:54, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi, please check if the article Hero MotoCorp is neutral in point. Subin.a.mathew ( talk) 18:01, 15 August 2011 (UTC)
HT was a political commentator and very anti-Vietnam War. I think it is quite relevant what he wrote (if anything) about the bloodbath after the V. War. No? Toothis ( talk) 19:26, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your help on the TTXGP article. I was trying to revert the unsourced edits but cited WP:COI, instead. Anyway, you fixed it, and I thank you. Hbmallin ( talk) 19:06, 20 August 2011 (UTC)
"Woolgathering"?! A new one on me! I'm not sure there was Original Research, but I'm content with having made a minor tweak since. I acknowledge he ST reference is nothing special - it's just to get a reflist up & running. Arrivisto ( talk) 15:18, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Can you please take a look at this record and see whether it is fit to change the List of Fastest Production Motorcycles Page? http://hellforleathermagazine.com/2011/08/the-fastest-liter-bike-in-world-isn%E2%80%99t-what-you-think-it-is/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.102.123.211 ( talk • contribs) 13:03, 1 September 2011
Note: a simple front drive cog change (two more teeth) easily puts a BMW S1000RR's top speed easily over 200MPH. I know, I ride one. Hailypaige ( talk) 17:41, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
I agree. Very confusing. The 2012 RR will, it is reported, break 200MPH fully stock. I was at the FIM World Superbikes Championship (WSBK) dinner in Portugal recently and met Vito Ippolito - President of the FIM - and exchanged cards with him. Perhaps I could present him with this question for you? Hailypaige ( talk) 18:12, 19 November 2011 (UTC)
Sorry. I thought that because it included the original patent sheets it would pass muster. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jeffrey M Dean ( talk • contribs) 21:58, 11 September 2011 (UTC)

Please be particularly aware, the three-revert rule states that:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Toddst1 ( talk) 00:22, 16 September 2011 (UTC)
