So after 3 years and one month i finally was able to figure out the email address password associated with this account and log in. Now to figure out what to do with two accounts, this one set up in August 2006 and the
other established December 2008.

I had offered to help
Te Vaka Management resolve the
WP:COI edits to the articles on the band
Te Vaka and their albums and help them chose a username that was appropriate. As a result of email communication today i offered to re-write their contributions in proper wiki format with refs. This will take some time as i am familiarising myself with the band.

OK so then something greater is not working for me because i am sitting here seeing absolutely no activity in the irc and it has been that way for 19 hours now. And i explicitly did not click 'Defer to admins'. I clicked 'Create' and it showed me you handling it. This is a very bad introductory experience.

"...join in as appropriate." Gotta love that. What was inappropriate in the first place to prompt such comment? My disagreeing with you? My reverting some of the edits? My disagreeing that there was an established consensus for your sweeping edits? My disagreement that a consensus would be appropriate for edits affecting so many articles. My request for a 3rd party (admin if needed) intervention in response to your threat of the same? My saying that if it is good enough for you to do then why do you deem it not ok for me to do? My pointing out the vailed link you put in your comment 3 posts before this one? My lack of objection to a discussion on the U2 talk page? My suggestion to give it some time for other people to join the discussion since some people sleep? WOW, "as appropriate" just sounds so wrong.
I'll be sure that i appropriately never have an opinion again ;) I should be focusing on the people wanting an account and those articles of smaller size. U2 already have enough disagreement, with or without me.

Moved from my Simple English talk page
Hello, Deliriousandlost, and
welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! You may want to begin by reading these pages :
Thanks, I appreciate the input. I've been putting a lot of work into it lately and it's been coming along quite well. I appreciate the source addition. Bono's quote was actually cited form the Stokes reference (which is at the end of the sentence), but seeing how its a print source, it would be difficult to look up. I think it should be left in though because the Stokes reference only features brief quotes and not the whole interview. I do like the fact that you pointed out how the phrase "The soul needs beauty for a soul mate" is used in two songs, but unfortunately neither have an article. If I can think of a way to incorporate them into an article, I will let you know. It's good to see another U2 fan on here editing the articles, and if you ever want to collaborate on a project, just let me know. –

Thank you. The redirect i used works on MOST wikis. I guess i should check them again. I am also going to need to change my signature based on what you did. 125 projects - 10 in English = too many to do at once! My signature already uses the maximum number of characters! :( Cheers

As You did the links from on sv:ws, they works from any wikipedia and from any english project. But not always from any version of q:/s:/b:/wikt: etc. --

If your posting it on other languages your actually going to want to always put in theen:w: section, the default for w: or wikt: or anything like that is to go to the same language as your already on.

Hi Jamesofur :) As you might not notice. my standard signature is too long to add in what you suggested. O i know we all love it but the TALK had to go bye byes. The talk is now linked from the "lost". It's what i get for having a longer username.

User:Syane
Hi! I saw the message you posted on
User talk:Syane about the AfD I nominated. Thank you for taking the time to leave a personal note, I was in the midst of dealing with another user who was making shotgun CSD nominations which was how I discovered this page, and didn't really think about checking this user's edit history. For the record, I did change it from a CSD to an AfD to allow for some comments, but didn't check the user's history or take the time to leave a note. Thank you for the courtesy you showed that I should have shown!

You're welcome. I found the article @ AfD and thought i would look into it before i voted on it. I was recently inspired by
WP:NEWT. I might have tagged it CSD#G2 but agree that AfD would be better for a first contribution, allowing the new user to be able to see the feedback on what they wrote.Given the likelihood of
WP:SNOW i decided not to vote.

Yeah, it was originally nominated as a G3, and I was able to find sources easily enough and just wasn't sure enough to nominate it under a speedy, so decided to take it across the board! Happy Editing

It is two templates that give a rotating selection of quotes and images with descriptions on LGBT issues. It is NOT an endorsement of the westboro baptist 'church'. If you refresh the page you should see another image and quote. If you mean the background pic, that is a very old house from back home that is down the street from where i lived.

*sigh*, this is starting to be incredibly frustrating. Leo received his with no problems. At any rate, I re-sent it just now, so perhaps give it a minute or two and then check back?

Hi - I noticed
this request sitting out there for a while so I checked your contribs and it appeared you might have signed off for the night. I hope you don't mind but I took the liberty of closing it. If you are interested, I gave them a custom reason politely explaining that both the similarity to an existing username and the multiple exclamation points were areas of concern. Feel free to trout me if this was not appropriate.

Hi 7, other than my actually still being around in my channel i had disappeared from ACC channel about the time you said. I had tried to close it from my iPhone while watching some tv and then back at my pc before i finally went to bed about an hour before you got access to the toolserver and closed it. I was rather torn between "upolicy" for the excessive "!" being disruptive and simply "similar". I was also afraid that if i did get access to toolserver for a moment it would be down again before i finished a custom close; it was already misbehaving when i reserved the request. I had asked Brian or anyone who could, when they could, to close it as i couldn't even break my reservation before going to bed. Not in this case but just to let you know, I use salted salmons.:Pdelirious & lost ☯

Oh - I didn't even know the toolserver was having troubles... Gotta start paying attention. Thanks.

Hi Deliriousandlost. Just want to let you know that I've undone your edit at
WP:RFA. I know you mean well but please don't simply remove/untransclude RfAs; it causes some issues because voting has already started and the timer has already begun counting time. I don't mind if you close the RfA prematurely per
WP:SNOW or
WP:NOTNOW but please don't just completely remove RfAs. Regards, FASTILY(TALK)08:17, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
I went looking for you but you appear to not be in any IRC channel that i am in. I then sought out others' opinions before i did anything. Noöne had any other suggestions other than what i ended up doing. Soliciting a transclusion when there is not even a nomination statement... i don't know what to say. :( delirious & lost ☯
~hugs~08:28, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
Well...yeah. That's the same conclusion I came to not long after I made the post on your talk page. Dammit that wasn't smart. I don't know whether I should take it down again or let it run...-FASTILY(TALK)08:39, 28 December 2009 (UTC)
I gave him my support and when i saved i saw that i had your above message. In my defence, i made it pretty clear in the edit summary why i was removing it. You're not the only one who never read it. Soap commented on it in IRC (something i found when i scrolled through JC's channel). I am intimidated like shit by the potential fall-out of an edit to
WP:RFA and i don't make them lightly.

When i noticed it there was not yet a vote. By the time i un-transcluded it two had opposed. It is now 2/2/3 and i don't know of any policy to put it on "pause" until a nomination statement is written. My best suggestion is that you yourself write a nom now before this goes any further.

The candidate has added a statement - but signed with a date/time stamp from September. I have advised them to contact Fastily both about the date/time stamp (should it be today's date, or the date the RfA was originally created?), and asking Fastily to 'unhold' the RfA. --PhantomSteve/
