Hey there, Dark Prowler. I saw you created the article Max Payne: Payne & Redemption, but unfortunately it might not be deemed notable enough to be included on Wikipedia. I saw from (what I presume is) your website that the movie has been rejected from IMDb "a total of, let's see... FIVE times". While I, as a Max Payne fan (the reason I came to the article is that I'm replaying the games for the twentieth time), would love to see this movie, I'm not sure it's notable enough to have its own article. When the movie comes out, and is notable enough to be included (an IMDb entry is usually a good sign), then you're welcome to re-submit it, and I may even help you out. Until then, a vote for deletion will be held in effect, and you're welcome to make any comments you want. Be aware, however, that typically only established members of the community are able to significantly change the vote. Best of luck to you in completing the film, and let me know when it comes out. - Mysekurity [m! 15:01, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:Clarencep&r002.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Clarencep&r002.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Payne&RedemptionOneSheetPoster600-2-.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Payne&RedemptionOneSheetPoster600-2-.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Payne&RedemptionOneSheetPoster600.jpg, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Payne&RedemptionOneSheetPoster600.jpg is an image licensed as " for non-commercial use only" or " used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles ( CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{ GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{ cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{ PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Payne&RedemptionOneSheetPoster600.jpg itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thanks. -- Android Mouse Bot 2 02:11, 24 June 2007 (UTC) reply

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Payne&RedemptionOneSheetPoster600.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Burzmali 13:00, 27 June 2007 (UTC) reply

RE: Max Payne: Payne & Redemption

I am confused as to why you have called this movie "home-made" and said that it has no "relevance" to Sam Lake. This is a PROFESSIONAL movie made by INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS, most of whom have IMDB profiles supporting this fact. This film is also not only CONDONED BY SAM LAKE, but strongly supported by him, too, hence why he has been quoted on the official website. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dark Prowler ( talkcontribs)

The fact that Sam Lake's was quoted saying good things about the movie may be important to the movie, but it's not important to Sam Lake, and it doesn't belong to his biography.
I wish all the best for your movie. I want it to be successful and well-known, and have it's own entry on imdb someday. But please understand that advertising it on Wikipedia as you do is not appropriate. Please, avoid doing any edit that may see as promoting this movie.
