Do you have a connection with Claremont McKenna College‎? ElKevbo ( talk) 21:51, 25 July 2020 (UTC) reply

Hi ElKevbo! New around here and still trying to figure this out, so would welcome any feedback. I noticed the page for Claremont McKenna seemed less neutral when compared to some of its peer colleges and institutions. I made additions to include more NPOV sources and recent student demographics to add consistency and neutrality to the format and content of the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cntrbtrs ( talkcontribs) 18:23, July 25, 2020 (UTC)
Can you please clearly answer the question? We have policies that forbid editing articles if you are being paid to promote the subject and don't disclose your relationship and we also have policies that discourage editing articles if you have some other relationship that might be a conflict of interest. Sure, happy to answer- No, I am not paid to promote Claremont McKenna and do not have a conflict of interest, financial, legal or otherwise. Thanks for clarifying. Cntrbtrs ( talk) 20:07, 27 July 2020 (UTC) reply

While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{ copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you.
