Can you explain the rationale behind your recent reversion of my edit at this page. As far as I can gather the '2’ code should include the sub-divisions whereas the table only lists '1’ codes, and merely indicates the nature of the sub-divisions. Please note that good faith edits should not be undone without using an edit summary. Eldumpo ( talk) 19:46, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

Hi Chanheigeorge,
I've un-redirected the article. The redirect was fine when there was only unreferenced speculation about which countries would bid to host it. I would also have supported a redirect to
FIFA Club World Cup, were there not significant media coverage of India's bid to host the tournament. Perhaps it should still be a redirect; the article "
Indian bid to host the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup" appears to me very viable.
Your thoughts about this? Pete aka --

Hey Chanheigeorge
I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).
So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.
What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.
The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.

Hi.
At the article 2013–14 UEFA Champions League there is a assist table based on this source, that is clearly wrong since PSG only scored 4 goals. However the table is based only on that source so should we not have the same table as the official source for this tournament (even if it is wrong)? As it is know we say it is based on a source and if the reader goes to check the source, the article no longer match the source. In my opinion it is best to use the source even if it is wrong and add a note for it claiming it does not say the same as the matchreport. Or maybe use the correct table, but then use a note refering to the matchreport, with the correct stats, saying that the source is incorrect on PSG players. Hopefully the table will correct itself on UEFA.com, because initially the matchreport you provided in the edis summary was incorrect as well (I looked at it when making my edit yesterday) and that is know fixed. What should we do? QED237 (talk) 13:51, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
