Please keep an eye on the article on Takis Fotopoulos. user:John sargis, a member [1] of Takis Fotopoulos' political-ideological faction ( Inclusive Democracy) acts in a disruptive manner by deleting referenced information that is not flattering to Fotopoulos. This information is taken straight from the Greek section of Inclusive Democracy's website: it is an exceedingly long announcement in Greek by Inclusive Democracy that, among other conspiracy theories it sets forth, accuses the Free Software movement and organizations like Democracy Now! and Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting of being accessories to the master plan of the "transnational elite" and the New World Order. It is a clear attempt on behalf of Inclusive Democracy members to censor Wikipedia because some things they said could make them look bad. Also, do have a look at the Talk page of the concerned article (the article on Takis Fotopoulos and the discussion of the AfD (when ID members realized that their claims could and would be scrutinized, questioned and/or heavily edited and changed, they tried to have the article removed. When they didn't have their way, they posted a libelous announcement against Wikipedia on their website [2]. Elp gr ( talk) 20:20, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi Cbrown1023,
You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.

There is a really nasty, racist comment at the end of this section. It is highly offensive. Is it possible to remove it, please?

I am older and not skilled at computers or the internet! -- but wanted to bring to someone's attention that there is what appears to me to be an advertisement of someone's personal web site in an article. That bothered me! If you go to the article McNab (dog), scroll down to the end of the references, after the second reference there is a web site link to this woman's personal dog breeding web site. Please someone who knows how, correct/remove that if you feel it's appropriate to do so. Thank you.

Dear Cbrown1023,
My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Wikipedia administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the community HERE, where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.
So a few things about the interviews:
Bottom line is that we really need your help, and would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. If interested, please send me an email at obar@msu.edu (to maintain anonymity) and I will add your name to my offline contact list. If you feel comfortable doing so, you can post your name
HERE instead.
If you have questions or concerns at any time, feel free to email me at obar@msu.edu. I will be more than happy to speak with you.
Thanks in advance for your help. We have a lot to learn from you.
Sincerely,
Jonathan Obar -- Jaobar ( talk)

Hi -
I am a journalist at the Victoria Times Colonist in Victoria, B.C. Canada.
I just interviewed the comic, Danny Bhoy, this morning. He says his age on Wikipedia is incorrect -- he is only 37. He says he's tried to contact Wikipedia to correct this, but with no success.

I was checking out some information regarding the sinking of the RMS Titanic, specifically with reference to the RMS Carpathia which saved many of the Titanic passengers. The Captain of the Carpathia at that time was Arthur Rostron who later went on to command several other ships, one of them being the RMS Alaunia. However, the Wikipedia article has it written as the AULANIA. There was another ship called Aurania but not a ship called Aulania. In the separate Wiki page about Arthur Rostron it is written correctly which is how I encountered the error. If you type AULANIA into Google search you can immediately see there's some kind of error. I wanted to contact someone who has Wikipedia editing privileges as I do not feel qualified or confident enough to take on that kind of role. Sincerely DuchessD ( talk) 18:53, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

this orphan phrase in the paragraph below: tidal frequencies."I like grieving pages when we have an acout" As a result
and predictable, as is the time of high or low tide relative to other points on the same coast. For example, the high tide at Norfolk, Virginia, predictably occurs approximately two and a half hours before the Moon passes directly overhead.
Land masses and ocean basins act as barriers against water moving freely around the globe, and their varied shapes and sizes affect the size of tidal frequencies.I like grieving pages when we have an acout As a result, tidal patterns vary. For example, in the U.S., the East coast has predominantly semi-diurnal tides, as do Europe's Atlantic coasts, while the West coast predominantly has mixed tides.[11][12][13] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.118.52.26 ( talk) 19:14, 23 May 2012 (UTC)
The lead story to day is about the US Draped Bust Dollar. It is an interesting story and I wanted to read on. However clicking on more revealed in the right pane where one would normally see a picture, logo, flag, etc, a video clip of a man masturbating. Given that school chuildren may well be doing research about the silver dollare this needs to be removed as a matter of urgency. 114.76.5.38 ( talk) 07:39, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
