Thank you for
your contributions. It seems that you may have added
public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as
Luis J. Lauredo. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia
guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at

Hello CatchedY,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged David J. Johns for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

An article you recently created,
Adam Cohen (government official), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from
reliable,
independent sources. (
?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (
verifiability is of
central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to
draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.

Full disclosure -- I'm Yana. I would really like to remove any reference to my birth date or the year I graduated Columbia from my wikipedia page. I am concerned about identity theft and industry ageism. Also, not for nothing, but my birth year is wrong. This article makes me older than I actually am, and that hurts my career. The article Kenneth Handelman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Not enough in-depth coverage to meet WP:GNG, and doesn't qualify for WP:NPOL.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.

Hi, and thank you for
your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give a page a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into
Victoria de Grazia. This is known as a "
cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the
page history, which is
legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Liz Read! Hello, CatchedY,
Thank you for creating Ivan Veit.
I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:
Several references are primary or mentions. What is needed are references from significant coverage about the topic of the article, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}

Thanks for writing the Anna Fang article. I put her on my to-do list when the most recent Midas List was published. Blew my mind that there was not already an article about her. (I am writing about other VCs and attempting to include as many women as possible, but they are rare in the field and even more rarely covered.) Hope to cross paths again! Hello CatchedY -- Thank you for contributing this article, the subject looks clearly notable under WP:PROF from their Google Scholar profile. However there's a problem with some copying from the sources ( [1], [2]). Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously; even for basic material, you need to write in your own words, not cut and paste sentences and then edit a few words to make it different. Please completely rewrite the sentences that the copyvio tool is highlighting [3] as soon as possible, so that the article can be accepted. Regards, Espresso Addict ( talk) 21:08, 27 May 2022 (UTC)

Hello CatchedY -- Thanks for contributing this article. I believe the subject is likely to notable as an author under WP:AUTHOR and possibly also as an academic under WP:PROF. However the sources you have provided appear low quality, either associated with the subject or relatively trivial mentions in articles discussing another topic. What would be most useful is to list the major academic books written by the author (from the subject's university profile, CV/resume or WorldCat) and then find and add book reviews for them. Around four full reviews for at least two different books would be enough to demonstrate notability clearly. Cheers, Espresso Addict ( talk) 01:14, 31 May 2022 (UTC)

Hi CatchedY, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed' and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned prolific creators of articles where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Joe ( talk) 15:50, 27 June 2022 (UTC)

Please accept this olive branch and an apology
I did apologise formally at COIN but I would like apologise here too about my hastiness around some of your editing and questioning their notability. I have since understood more about the criteria for academic staff and see how it may have been hasty to call a lot of your articles online resumes/CVs. I do feel bad about how this may have made you feel about your hard work. I sampled a handful of articles you had written and saw ones like Adam Cohen which were clearly overly reliant on primary sources and assumed this applied across the field. I now that is not the case. Given your status as an ex-student of Columbia U, it was important to establish your relationship with the organisation. Even if you're not being paid or promoted to edit on their behalf, sometimes psychologically it can be difficult for one to be objective which is why we have the Conflict of Interest guidelines and ask people to declare. That said, I won't be mass nominating any of your articles etc. The purpose of the discussion was to find out if my assumption that many articles based on alumni sources for the alumni themselves would pass notability. I think if they're academic, then the answer is yes. If not then that's where there is legitimate space for discussion based on BLP or GNG guidelines. Once again I would like to apologise. >>

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Vikram Gandhi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vikram Gandhi. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A few hours ago, you added an infobox to Susan C. Scrimshaw. The infobox included a residence parameter, which is no longer valid. (It was removed in Feb 2020.) No problem, it turns up in an error tracking category and so I fixed it. I have been fixing that infobox problem for some while, so there has to be some data or documentation somewhere that is still out of date. I have checked all of the "obvious" places, but still cannot find where. The question is then – when you added the infobox, what editor or template did you use that included the residence parameter? — GhostInTheMachine talk to me 07:23, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
