You might be interested in following this deletion discussion for {{ Cite_Q}}; it's likely to attract a broader range of editors than will see the Wikidata discussion currently going on, so you might get more information about the reasons why people do and don't like Wikidata.
I don't know if you edit Wikipedia at all, perhaps under another user name; if not, can I ask if you've tried adding or editing citations by the various methods that exist? It's easy for those of us who've been doing it for years to forget that tools like {{ cite journal}} are not very easy to learn to use; similarly, it may be hard for those who are expert in Wikidata to understand how impenetrable it can appear when you first encounter it. If you can get all the way through the process of adding a raw cite, a {{ cite journal}}, and a {{ cite_Q}}, and then try using the watchlists in the two places to keep an eye on your work, that would help you understand the debate. You may already have done this, of course, but if not I think it would help the conversation. Mike Christie ( talk - contribs - library) 11:31, 15 September 2017 (UTC)
Thank you for the food for thought that you left in response to my proposal at Wikipedia: Village pump (proposals). It is interesting to know what people outside the English-speaking world think of Wikipedia. Vorbee ( talk) 16:12, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
Hi CKoerner ... per your very helpful comments earlier about popups ( Recent_user_interface_change_discussion) I see that now that I've used a new browser, I get the popups again, and they still sometimes have no navigation controls. http://geekpic.net/pm-VKQOMW.html My opposition to this is unchanged. Is it still in A/B testing? Did some policy change? Frankly it's awful for those of us with small screens, or the many people with accessibility issues, or those surprised by images they do not want to see (medical, historical, etc). Thanks for suggestions. Jonathan. 82.69.229.22 ( talk) 12:36, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
I have updated the link to this issue in phabricator( T210747). If you think the edit is wrong or unnecessary, please revert my edit. Adithyak1997 ( talk) 17:41, 29 November 2018 (UTC)
Hi, I don't think that my Echo ping that was intended to include you worked as I intended. Please see Wikipedia talk:Arbitration Committee#Design improvements for lengthy and/or multi-page discussions. ↠Pine (✉) 17:10, 12 December 2019 (UTC)
Since you're responsible for Diff and maybe the Wikipedia Twitter, can you possibly make something related to the most viewed articles of the year, compiled and commentated by a dedicated crew? ( there is also a Medium article by someone who I don't know if it's related to Wikimedia) Thanks! igordebraga ≠ 22:54, 3 January 2021 (UTC)
Do you want to host an in-person or virtual session at Wikimania 2023? Maybe a hands-on workshop, a lively discussion, a fun performance, a catchy poster, or a memorable lightning talk? Submissions are open until March 28. The event will have dedicated hybrid blocks, so virtual submissions and pre-recorded content are also welcome. If you have any questions, please join us at an upcoming conversation on March 12 or 19, or reach out by email at wikimania@wikimedia.org or on Telegram. More information on-wiki.
