Dear Wiki

I submitted a request to change my organizations info box to add some new parameters and make some corrected updates. But it said the response -
/info/en/?search=Talk:InsideClimate_News - said that some parameters don't exist.

How do I get those parameters in the info box - can I insert them myself?

many thanks!

If you try to insert those non-existent parameters, they will not show up in the article infobox, which means adding them will do nothing. For those parameters to work, they would have to be added to {{ Infobox website}} itself. Because it is protected so that only template editors and administrators can edit it, you would have to propose adding new parameters on the template talk page. —  MRD2014  Talk 20:55, 19 February 2018 (UTC) reply
Adding parameters to the template is not a good idea. Websites simply do not come with those properties. Instead, we can consider using a different infobox if this one doesn't appropriately cover the topic - maybe Template:Infobox organization may be a better fit if it's meant to be about the organization behind the website, not the website itself.
