JSFarman ( talk) 04:47, 31 December 2021 (UTC)Hello Beansalad3! Your additions to File:Dr Sean Bush examines a California kingsnake.jpg have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Victor Schmidt ( talk) 15:59, 31 December 2021 (UTC)
( talk) Hi Victor,
I reached out to Dr. Bush to get his approval for use on a few of the photos. I explained that I was creating a page for him and he submitted a few photos to wiki-commons. He added me to the email thread showing his approval that he was indeed the original owner and photographer of the image. I have since followed up with wiki-commons to ensure it's okay for me to add those photos to his page but have not heard back. Is there a place on the backend where you can see where he has given his approval? I don't want to update his page only to have the images removed. Thanks, Nicole ~~
Hi Beansalad3! The thread you created at the
Wikipedia:Teahouse, You can still read the archived discussion. If you have follow-up questions, please .
