Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at
Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on
edit warring. Thank you.
Hello, I'm
Khairulash. I noticed that you recently removed some content from
Calvin Cheng without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate
edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the
sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on
my talk page. Thanks.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to
Calvin Cheng, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the
edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been
reverted. Please make use of the
sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits.

Please stop your
disruptive editing. If you continue to remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to
Calvin Cheng with
this edit, you may be
blocked from editing.

You may be
blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at
Calvin Cheng.

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Please do not remove
Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you.

Thanks for uploading Image:Amber3.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:05, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to
talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the
Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --

Hello and Welcome to Wikipedia. Please see WP:BIO and Wikipedia:Verifiability.
The AfD discussion is not a vote. If you're able to add suitable references that mention the subject of the article in non-trivial manner, the article will not be deleted, even if there are more number of delete votes.
If Calvin Cheng is notable, there should be some non-trivial mentions in reliable sources available -- try adding these to the article. The references/sources don't have to be in English language only -- you can also provide sources in other languages of Malaysia/Singapore. The article currently has sources that mention the subject only in a trivial manner/passing references.
As about similar articles, please see Wikipedia:Inclusion is not an indicator of notability. utcursch | talk 15:32, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

The consensus at the articles for deletion debate was to delete the article. If you want it to be restored, you will have to pursue deletion review. - Rjd0060 ( talk) 05:50, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
I have moved this section from your info page to the talk page. StandNThrow ( talk) 13:49, 25 January 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:CalvinCheng.jpg, which you've attributed to Calvin Cheng. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Diannaa ( talk) 00:31, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
Hi Aricia, I was in the process of writing my response on my talk page after I reverted, hopefully we can discuss the issue over there. -- Beefball ( talk) 17:19, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi Beefball . Thank you SO much for reverting :) If you look at the history of the Calvin Cheng page, it was protected from vandalism for 3 months because there were many anonymous accounts and accounts created specifically for editing this page, out of political reasons. The initial edit for this 'controversy' page was such one. If you look at all the legal documents, Calvin Cheng himself was never fined, and in fact AMIP itself was exonerated. And there can't possibly be a controversy if the government proceeded to appoint him as an NMP and many Singaporean statutory boards? The section was created to embarrass Mr. Cheng and the information was already included in the Biography. This isn't even a significant even in his career, otherwise it would have prevented him from being in parliament, on the boards of many singapore govt orgs etc. 'price fixing' in singapore isn't criminal law, it is regulatory law ie. like SMRT being fined for trains being late. As Mr. Cheng is very vocal in standing up to trolls on the internet who use could language, abuse foreigners etc, he has incurred the wrath of these people. Hope you understand and you can join forces in protecting these pages?
If you look at the history, you can see an account teosirluck that was created to edit unfavourable Singapore govt politicians. I reported him but as I am not experienced, I did not know how to do it. He has gone on to make unfavourable edits on Lee Kuan Yew, Lee Hsien Loong etc. Even his name is troll name!!
I see you are very experienced, I really really really hope you can help me!!! Please! :(
Also I have been a fashion editor for over 20 years. The event at Tibet was very significant since the Potala Palace is the Dalai Lama's palace and to do a beauty pageant at the location was the first and last time in history!!
Also the emergence of Liu Wen as a supermodel is also very significant as she is the first China supermodel. When Cheng talked about Asian beauty, there was none. In the end, as he predicted there was. He was the first Asian head of elite model and fought a lot for asian beauty. Aricialam ( talk) 17:29, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an
edit war according to the reverts you have made on
Calvin Cheng. Users are expected to
collaborate with others, to avoid editing
disruptively, and to
try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Mdann52 ( talk) 17:42, 15 December 2015 (UTC)
@ Mdann52: Please look at the talkpage of the article. I am trying to reach a consensus, even suggesting the use of the sandbox before including sections that violate BLP NPOV. But the users keep reverting my changes.

My IP is a shared IP and I believe my grandson may have out of his own good faith intention registered another account and tried to support my edits. I have been an editor since 2007 and have never violated guidelines
Decline reason:
First, you have definitely violated our guidelines in the past (edit warring seems to be kinda your thing). Second, you "believe" your "grandson" "may have" attempted to support your edits, using your "shared IP"? Putting aside the obvious ridiculousness associated with that claim, if anyone makes edits to push someone else's agenda that's called WP:MEATPUPPETRY and it's still against our policy on account use. — Coffee // have a cup // beans // 07:53, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
