Hi again. I don't know if you're following discussions at WT:DYK (if you're building prep sets, you should be). Our unofficial supervisor, BlueMoonset, moved the matchsticks hook into the quirky slot on purpose. You moved it out. Perhaps it's because you are alternating bios and non-bios in sets, with 4 of each, that you did this? First of all, that wasn't necessary; in fact, we've been running sets with 5 non-bios and 3 bios for some time because there has been an imbalance of nominations at WP:DYKNA. Second of all, the Johanna André bio hook is hardly quirky. I moved it to a later set, and will replace it with something else. Best, Yoninah ( talk) 18:20, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
It means funny, surprising, offbeat. See Rule J7. The hooks you have been putting in the quirky slot are not quirky:

Hello Amgkp. I wanted to reach out to you because I need to apologize to you. I'm sorry that I let you down as a NPP mentor back in late April. I disappeared from the site without leaving much of a trace, and in doing so left you in the dark as a student. I'm going to need a couple days to catch myself up on things that have happened on the site, but in the meantime, I've realized that I wasn't in any position to be a NPP mentor then. For disclosure, being an NPP mentor was something that I wanted to do, but the time commitment / course customization coupled with responsibilities outside of Wikipedia meant that something had to go. I just did so in an intolerable manner, and you didn't deserve that.
With that being said, I do not think I should be your teacher, as I had already failed you once, and my knowledge is already pretty rusty. But if you haven't already, I would highly recommend that you try your hand at NPP again if you haven't already, and hopefully you can be paired with a better teacher. Have a good day, sincerely Utopes ( talk / cont) 19:41, 7 September 2020 (UTC)

I have removed your Speedy Delete notice and replaced it with a new one as this is a direct copyright infringement. Hope you don't mind. Dan arndt ( talk) 09:32, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
Please revert your closure of The Ashvale. A non-admin is only allowed to close at AfD in circumstances where the closure is clear and obvious. This one is not. Including the nomination, there are 3 calls to Delete and 3 calls to Keep. Thank you. HighKing ++ 18:12, 9 September 2020 (UTC)
Please reopen and relist the discussion you closed at Talk:Flash (comics)#Requested move 28 August 2020. Your closed seemed completely based on support of the proposed move location, but did not give any consideration to the alternatives presented during the discussion. In addition, it did not seem as though any of the editors who voted "oppose" specifically opposed the alternatives presented, and in fact their comments could be considered support to the alternatives presented. Hi there, I ask that you please reconsider your Speedy Deletion tag. Every sentence in the wikipedia page is pulled from a direct quote from a 3rd party source or article — Preceding unsigned comment added by ReachelleS ( talk • contribs) 19:27, 11 September 2020 (UTC)
On 13 September 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Anandalahari, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the anandalahari (pictured) is an Indian chordophone musical instrument used by religious singers of the Baul faith? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Anandalahari. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, Anandalahari), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Thank you for a good one! I made minor changes, such as the real location to the lead, not some touristy poetic district name without a link, - while the one with a link is in Austria. Perhaps the monastery would even be better, - don't know. - It's also featured on Portal:Germany. Next time, you can add there yourself ;) -- Gerda Arendt ( talk) 07:09, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
Hi, I appreciate all the work you're doing on the prep sets. But I'd like to ask a favor. Part of the "fun" of building a prep set is choosing what will appear in the image slot. And all of us who build prep sets are aware of which images should be saved for a lead slot. So please try to limit yourself to choosing the image for the prep set you're building. And if you finish and have extra time, go ahead and choose the next image. But please don't fill up the whole page with images. Thanks, Yoninah ( talk) 14:47, 15 September 2020 (UTC)

I WILL NOT PROMOTE ANY WP WEBSITE PLEASE OPEN LINK AND CHECK I COLLECT HIS INFO FROM HIS AUTOBIOGRAPHY WHICH WRITE ON WP SITE
Regarding this hook promotion, the original caption was longer, but no one would know that except the nominator. You're perfectly within your rights to edit it, but your edit must be transparent. The way I do it is promote the hook and caption as is, and then, in a later edit, tweak it. That way everyone can see who did the edit and why. See, I added a link in this edit after the promotion; deleted the link in this edit after the promotion; and I often trim the hook or make other tweaks after the promotion. We need to ask the nominator if the edit of the caption is accurate; it seems to me it isn't. Best, Yoninah ( talk) 16:22, 15 September 2020 (UTC)
