Hello Alex ex, I thought you should know that several people (myself included) are using your warning to Larvatus see here in a Rfar case [1]. No action necessary on your part. Of course, your thoughts are welcome. -- FloNight 15:57, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
The line breaks in the template were messing up the paragraphs the template was inserted in. It made all text following the template move down to the line below, ruining the text. I don't know which line break caused the template to behave in that way, so I played it safe and just removed all spaces. If you can make it work with spaces in the template without ruining the sentence it is placed in, of course you should just do that. Poulsen 15:08, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
As I read that you wanted to keep ROGNNTUDJUU!'s template user talk:ROGNNTUDJUU!/User against Iraq war of aggression, I'd like to point out to you that the code is still there:

Hi, Alex. I was in the middle of a complete rewrite when you kindly made a change to List of vegetable oils. Would you take a look and make sure that I correctly caught the changes you made, and incorporated them, please? Thanks! Waitak 10:01, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
Well what got me is that the passage on religion did not make it into your version. Make sure to not delete any major stuff but feel free to re-organize it and explain your reasons on the talk page. -- 8bitJake 17:01, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Per your request, I am fixing some of the spelling and grammar on your user page. Jbhood 17:57, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi Alex, I notice you recently created 35007. The page could perhaps do with a little work to reach WP:MUSIC, verification of e.g. serious press coverage or the notability of the record label would go a long way towards this. Cheers, Deizio talk 16:21, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi Alex, I'm sorry if I'm not the first to ask, but can you please give me the recipie for your Sea Under A Coat salad? I'm a big health enthusiast. Thanks! -nofreaksforus (i have an account but can't get it to sign with anything besides my IP portal!!)
I can't blame you for not trusting me, I signed up the day I posted that question. I'm totally new here and whenever I tried to log in (after registering) it told me there was no account in that name and when I checked the confirmation email (and I did confirm my account), it was the same login name as the name wiki said did not exist. So I just made a new account. For some reason this one's working now. I hope. And my name didn't work because I went in and instead of using a signature I just wrote 'nofreaksforus' out. Hey Alex, thanks for all the attention you've given to the Quelia article. I agree that "Quelia" is a problematic term, but I think the current title of the article is a bit awkward. Do you think we could come up with a better name? The German wiki calls it "Deutschrussisch". Maybe we could re-title it "German-Russian" or "German-Rusian pidgin" or something. Let me know what your thoughts are on the subject. Thanks again. Aelffin 18:01, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
Hello Alex ex, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image ( Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg) was found at the following location: User talk:Alex ex. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not readd the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot) -talk 04:47, 17 May 2007 (UTC)

I've refused the speedy on this user subpage you nominated as criteria G10, because it seems to me that the subject is the parody of the Soviet anthem rather than the anthem itself. User pages are not entirely subject to the same NPOV requirements as articles. However it is a questionable page and you might want to nominate it as Miscellany for deletion. The task force dedicated to creating and improving articles on all German cities and municipalities is happy to announce that there are now (at least) stub articles for all municipalities of Germany. Now the task force is looking for help in fleshing these out a little bit. The current phase of activity for the task force is to copy in infoboxes from the articles in German Wikipedia. If you want to help, even just for a few articles, look at the instructions and links here
There are now way over 26.000 articles tagged as part of our Wikiproject and many still need either an importance or a quality assessment. Also there are many more out there that do need to be tagged like approx 8000 municipalities. If you would like to help take a browse through Articles needing Importance assessment or Articles needing a basic quality assessment. |

Dear Alex,
I am Andreas Schroeder, a Research Fellow at City University in Hong Kong. Here at the University’s Center for Applied Knowledge and Innovation Management, we are currently conducting a research project on collaboration activities in Wikipedia. We are inviting experienced Wikipedians worldwide to share their experiences and views on different aspect of the community processes with us. Our aim is to find out how people integrate their contribution efforts to ultimately better understand the mechanisms behind the amazing success of Wikipedia.
Because you are an experienced Wikipedian and a well integrated member of the Wikipedia community, we would like to talk to you about your experiences. We would like to do a short interview during the next two weeks either via Skype, MSN Messenger or telephone at a time that is most convenient for you. The interview should not take longer than 30 minutes and could be conducted in German or English.
We would very much appreciate your participation in this research project. Any information about participants will, of course, be kept strictly confidential. For further questions about the project and to arrange a date for an interview, please contact Andreas Schroeder at WikiResearchCityU{at}gmail.com or send me an email.

Hello Alex Ex! Thank you for your contributions. I am a
bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an
Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The
biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure
verifiability, all biographies should be based on
reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current
836 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{
unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.
On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (
consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true
. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false
in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being minor in the usual way.
For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. With the script in place, you can continue with this functionality indefinitely (its use is governed by WP:MINOR). If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.
Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot ( talk) 19:12, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sleaford Mods, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punk. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot ( talk) 09:12, 24 September 2014 (UTC)
A tag has been placed on Nápověda:Obsah, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. --18:11, 28 September 2014 (UTC), Utar ( talk)
Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. -- Ser Amantio di Nicolao Che dicono a Signa? Lo dicono a Signa. 02:03, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Sleaford Mods "Divide and Exit" album cover (2014).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- B-bot ( talk) 21:41, 25 December 2021 (UTC)
