Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to
talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must
sign your posts by typing four
tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button
located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --

Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for
your contributions. I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a
general rule, talk pages such as
Talk:Howland Island are for discussion related to improving the article,
not general discussion about the topic. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting
our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. Thank you.

Please stop using talk pages such as
Talk:Homework for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article;
not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting
our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See
here for more information. Thank you.

I don't know why Wikipedia editors keep telling me the Talk page is not for discussions about the subject... let me just check up real quick on the definition of "talk": Wikitionary: Talk
Noun talk (plural talks) 1. A conversation or discussion.
I do not make my talk page edits lightly. Its not like I'm editing a main article page, but rather, a back burner page. If you do not desire my contributions, which I feel have merit concerning the subject matter in the main article, I shall take them over to Anarchopedia This "anybody" is taking his "editing" of "encyclopedias" elsewhere. Good day 71.226.11.248. First off, thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I was just reading Talk:Sovereign immunity in the United States and noticed that you made a comment on the talk page that wasn't really suitable for a talk page. Please remember that talk pages are not general discussion forums about the topic. Talk pages are for material that directly relates to the improvement of the article in question. Please try to keep your comments on talk pages on topic in the future. Thank you Zell Faze ( talk) 17:37, 27 December 2012 (UTC)
