Shraddhey Shree Devendra Brahmachari, known affectionately as Bhai Ji (born Devendra Jain on 16 April 1988), is a respected Jain monk and spiritual leader. He was born in Niwari, Madhya Pradesh [1], and took his vow of celibacy under Saint Shiromani Param Pujya Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj on 27 January 2008, in Madhya Pradesh. Since then, he has dedicated his life to promoting the principles of Tirthankar Lord Mahavir and has become known for his efforts in fostering social harmony [2] through various initiatives.
Devendra Brahmachari, born Devendra Jain on 16 April 1988 in Luhargawan, Niwari district, Madhya Pradesh, embraced a life of renunciation at a young age. He is the son of Mrs. Tara Devi Jain and Mr. Gulabchand Jain. He completed his matriculation and furthered his education in yoga, becoming an Authentic Yoga Instructor at The Yoga Institute in Mumbai. On 27 January 2008, he took a vow of celibacy under Saint Shiromani Param Pujya Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj in Bahoriband, Madhya Pradesh. His early dedication to the principles of Lord Mahavira set the foundation for his lifelong commitment to promoting peace and harmony through various social and religious initiatives.
On 27 January 2008, he renounced worldly life and took the vow of celibacy under the guidance of Saint Shiromani Param Pujya Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj in Bahoriband, Madhya Pradesh. Since then, he has dedicated his life to spiritual pursuits and the promotion of Jain principles.
