Is this text REALLY rotating? It's probably just all in your head.

Note: I do have ADHD, so if I am focused on something and don't respond, that doesn't mean that I didn't see your message, I'm just hyper-focusing on something at the moment

Hi. My name is (obviously) Sir MemeGod, and whatever corner of Wikipedia you are coming from, welcome to my user page! I am a user who has a relatively brief but extremely rich history on this site. I made my account on November 5, 2020, and didn't make 1 darn edit until February of 2024. I hold the unofficial and self-proclaimed record for most seperate talk page messages in 1 day (10) and am notorious for getting myself intertwined into nonsensical arguments with others. You will mainly see my name on new pages or anywhere involving weather, specifically with tornadoes that aren't really relevant anymore (I'm obviously joking) or very distant astronomical objects.

You may also see my name at the Teahouse, where I will be shifting a teensy bit of my focus to. I am still in high school, and am planning on attending City College of New York in the future. Until then, I'm free to do Wikipedia basically whenever.

Where you may encounter me

  • Where many people will first encounter me is via the New Pages Feed, as I usually make 2-5 articles relating to astronomy daily (and yes they're reliably sourced)
  • You may also find me giving input on AfDs (Articles For Deletion). While I am a fence-sitter, I do have opinions :)
  • You can also find me on practically anything tornado-related. It's a bit random (galaxies and tornadoes don't really go together) but I have made articles on twisters before.
  • And last but not least, the Teahouse, where I will be answering any question that a newcomer to the project may have.

A little bit about me (off of wikipedia)

  • I've avoided a deadly wildfire by four days (me and my family were in Gatlinburg at the time, we were all good).
  • I love 90s rap. Very irrelevant to Wikipedia, but oh well. ( Biggie always had better flow, for you 2pac lovers)
  • I am a pencil artist and actually have made some pretty decent pieces of art. If you are a beginner with pencil art and need help, just ask.
  • I've met 5 members of the Althing! (Don't ask how or why, I may or may not have been at a protest that served free coffee)
  • I failed Algebra freshman year (sad, I know)

Notable contributions

  • Making over 100 articles on astronomical objects
  • Making 1997 Jarrell tornado, an article with ~30,000 monthly pageviews
  • Getting into such an unhinged argument that I made an entire WikiProject rewrite their rules (not too proud of that one)
  • Reverted an editor during the Donald Trump edit war (the "convicted felon in lede" one)
  • Somehow managing to get over 1,000 monthly pageviews on both my user and talk pages
  • Three DYKs (all are astronomical objects): COSMOS field, G299.2-2.9 and Kiso 5639
  • As of now, I have made four seperate articles on F5 tornadoes (pretty large number if you consider that only 59 tornadoes have ever been classified as an F5)
  • An image I uploaded indirectly sparked a discussion which has led to the potential deletion of up to 300 unrelated images. You heard me right. 300.

My policies

  • Wikipedia:WikiLove - If you've ever met me, you know that this is my primary policy here. Love triumphs all.
  • Wikipedia:Don't be a dick - Pretty self-explanatory.
  • Wikipedia:Assume good faith - I'll always assume good faith, even when (sometimes) I'm in the wrong. If so, just correct me! :)
  • Wikipedia:Too soon - If I get the chance to use this in a discussion, I will. Everything has a minimum time limit, and I've experienced my fair share of WP:TOOSOON deletions and discussions myself. I love you, WP:TOOSOON >:)

Notable created articles

Also see the bottom of my userpage for a precise list of every article I've ever created (with icons aswell)

Notes when interacting with me

  • This user is voluntarily stating that in the past they have been untruthful about the origins of at least 2 images (specifically the Greenfield and Ardmore images) they have uploaded, and may not be able to be trusted with controversial images. If you have any questions, please inquire on their talk page.
  • I am extremely self-conscious and may randomly just apologize for no reason. If so, please just say "you're fine".
  • I unfortunately can get extremely mad. If this happens, please just don't continue the conversation until I'm back.
  • I have had bad experiences here in the past, and may not be comfortable talking one-on-one with others.
  • I am a little too much of a people pleaser :)
  • I may randomly just not respond to a conversation. If that does happen, no, it isn't your fault.
  • I have ADHD, and will sometimes hyper-focus on a specific task (and may not respond to messages)

Again, thanks for visiting my userpage. All questions can go on my talk page, and if you're reading this I'm surprised that you even made it this far! :D

Notes

  • Note 1 = If you see an "" next to an article name, that means that I am particularly fond of how it turned out. They are also my best works! :)
  • Note 2 = If you see an "" next to an article name, that means that I created the article and nominated it for Did You Know. If you want to see the hook, then click on the article and go to its' talk page.
  • Note 3 = If you see an "" next to an article name, that means that the page has over 5,000 monthly pageviews (meaning that it is among my most-viewed works).
  • Note 4 = If you see an "" next to an article name, it means that it was published through Articles For Creation, which simply means that it was proofread and accepted to Wikipedia by others.
  • Note 4 = If you see an "" next to an article name, that means that the article my best-ever created page. It will be tossed around periodically, but whatever article name this icon is next to, is special to me as it is my most notable work. There can only be one on the list as well.
