Some
Singaporean who has been lurking around
Wikipedia around but only decided to create an account on 2006 October 14, although I made small edits before. Therefore, I am still very new in editing Wikipedia pages.
Amazed at the amount of information regarding
Singapore that can be found in Wikipedia. Indeed, one can find a Wikipedia entry for every
MRT and
LRT station in Singapore.
The motto of the AIW is conservata veritate, which translates to "with the preserved truth".
This motto reflects the inclusionist desire to change Wikipedia only when no knowledge would be lost as a result.
I believe that non-notable information should be retained, possibly moved around, but not deleted entirely. If anything, non-notable pages merely receive lesser links and get read by relatively fewer people, that's all.
