for the kind comments, and for the barnstar (and the resulting warm fuzzies). And congratulations on getting to man the admin-ship yourself; sorry I wasn't around to support you! I have a question. I am brand new to Wiki so I am still learning my way around. I have an account for English version of Wikipedia. But if I want to write an article in another language for that particular Wikipedia, do I also need a different account, or I can just switch from English Wikipedia to, i.e. Serbian Wikipedia within the same account? Thank you!

Redwolf24: Thank you for your welcome note on my user talk page. You recommend that new articles be placed into category(ies) so that articles are not orphaned. I read the wikipage on categories and it looks like you just make them up? Did not see a master list of categories to choose from. Any suggestions? sitearm 14:39, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
at user:iamzodyourzodeveryzod, um there's something there that I think is a "personal attack", so will you tell him to stop, or block him or something. (Its at the talk page) Thanks, Wikipedia Username 16:49, 25 July 2005 (UTC)
Hi Redwolf. This user has an inappropriate username and has a record of nothing but vandalism (see user contributions). Please block him as you see fit. Thanks, Sango 123 18:05, July 25, 2005 (UTC)
I've been seeing a lot of vandalism in the Internet Explorer article. Have you heard of a place called LUElinks. Thats where the vandalism is coming from. 21:48, 25 July 2005 (UTC)Warlock2
No problem with the correction on the Epic Records signing. As an Allman Brothers fan, I couldn't let that go. In fact, right now I am listening to my Instant Live CD of their concert from Sunday night. KitHutch 01:15, 26 July 2005 (UTC)

Hey, did you know about Category:Wikipedians of the United States, and cats? I think you should name your category Category:Wikipedians from Washington to keep with the current structure. Thanks. ∞ Who ?¿? 06:17, 26 July 2005 (UTC)

I've done quite a bit of re-vamping on the Microsoft page, for example. I'm not sure if the process I used was preferred for this wiki or not... there hasn't been any reverts or anything yet so I'm assuming its ok... I've also been asked on my page how to proceed with page re-vamping. Is generally going from assumpitions on a page's discussion page ok? Are lots of edits ok or is one big edit preferred? Thanks -- RN 20:30, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
Hello, before you read on I would just like to say that I have so far only posted this to a limited amount of administrators for consultation. If you have any objections to its wider distribution or suitability for Wikipedia please let me know.
Hi, I would just like to invite you to find out about the World Community Grid Human Proteome Folding Project. This is a purely philanthropic project and supported by a " blue chip" corporation in IBM. There is an ability to join a team once you have downloaded the software and another user has already established the Wikipedia team.
I would like to emphasise that I do not want to pressure anybody into feeling obligated and I understand the limited computer resources/access available to some. Feel free to pass this message on and thank you very much for your time, Mark83 21:49, 26 July 2005 (UTC)
Hello again, Redwolf24. Sorry for your latest message on my talk page, I was a bit of a semi-break. What I use in order to look for producers of albums is at allmusic.com where you go on to the credits section, you'll need an I.D. to go in there. You can try Artist Direct.com instead they have credits of albums. The charts I add on albums are from allmusic.com too. -- Mike Garcia | talk 00:32 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Shouldn't "Me and Wikipedia" on your user page technically be "Wikipedia and I" or "I and Wikipedia"? -- Mrtea 00:37, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Hi, Redwolf. Thank you very much for supporting my RfA; your endoresment made my day! I hope to make good use of the mop. Sango 123 01:26, July 27, 2005 (UTC)
Yes I saw how your logs were all speedy deletions. Thats what I did on my first day, but Sango, remember one thing: don't become enwrapped in your powers and keep doing the stuff that got you your AdminShip in the first place. Redwolf24
I protected his talk page for abuse, what did he do for the block anyway? Redwolf24 00:50, 27 July 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcome.
Anyway, as someone who speaks a smattering of several languages, and currently on a little Sumo kick as my Bulgarian man kotooshu came within one win of having a giant white guy above the dohyo this July, I edit a lot of articles that could have a lot more Japanese in them. For instance, if I see something like Sekiwake, I really want it to read Sekiwake (関脇) for the few people who may be interested in such things.
There's also the fact that so many characters are used and reused in Sumo. For instance:
Sekiwake 関脇 - Third rank from the top in Sumo
Ozeki 大関 - Second rank from the top in Sumo
Sekitori 関取 - A wrestler in the top ranks
The actual character means 'door' or 'gate' and, well, point is that I have no idea if they're supposed to be in there, or not. Since they currently aren't, I don't put them in, but I was wondering if it would be wholly inappropriate if I did.

Hi I am fairly new to Wikipedia. I added an addition to the article on Vampires. There have been many contributors to the section. Recently, a user named DreamGuy has come in and has tried to make major changes to the article, rearranging and deletions. Me and other contributors don't agree with the changes but he keeps on trying to do it his way. We are willing to listen and ask him to discuss it on the discussion page but he won't and it seems like he is trying to bully his way around. It is starting to turn into an edit war, him against everyone else. Any advice? It is discouraging and it makes me want to give up on Wikipedia even though I have barely joined. I am sure other new members would feel the same way. I think the user DreamGuy has a history of bullying his way with articles though I can't be sure. Any guidance or insight would be appreciated. Thanks.-- Evmore 10:19, 27 July 2005 (UTC)

The user Lunchmeatistasty has been vandalising, and I just want to say if he does it again I think you should block him. S/he keeps saying that s/he is correcting spelling so it isn't checked. So now I'll probably have to keep checking those things and I just don't want to. So I'm just giving you the heads up. Wikipedia Username 02:37, 28 July 2005 (UTC)

Hi Redwolf,
I and a number of other users have agreed over at Talk:Jack Thompson (attorney) that the article got protected while a number of poor changes and additions to it were still in place. Could it be unprotected so improvements could be made? (If not, any ballpark idea when it will be unprotected?) I know the man is a controversial figure who generates no small amount of ire from some people, so there's probably always going to be some nitwit trying to add "Jack Thompson sucks!" to the article. Something we'll just have to deal with as we go, I guess. Thanks! GarageBay9
Would you please do me a favor and close the VfD on this one? I don't want to remove the boilerplate tag until it's resolved, and your go-ahead would be most helpful. I've changed my reasoning, and it appears all voters are unanimous. Thanks again, my sekurity 23:47, 30 July 2005 (UTC)
Hi I am new to Wiki. I posted a picture here ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Vampires.jpg) and used the tag, "This work is copyrighted, and used with permission. The terms of the permission do not include third party use. It is believed that the uses made here are likely to be fair use for most United States reusers of the work but this is a decision reusers must make for themselves based on their own circumstances. Permission granted by Wang Wei, the owner of image. E-mail Wang Wei at blizzard@wangwei-art.com for further information." A user DreamGuy says this is a copyright violation. First the owner who I know, Wang Wei, says it is fine where it is. I have an e-mail giving permission to have it in Wikipedia. Further, it is used as a promotional on his web page so it would even qualify as fair use even if not used is a free encyclopedia such as this. Can you let me know if I am in the wrong or not. If not can your protect the page with the correct tag. If I am wrong let me know so I can remove it. Thanks -- Evmore 07:50, 31 July 2005 (UTC)
