This template is used to create conditional headers, typically destined for subpages of talk or project pages which may benefit from subheadings and a table of contents, but where the transcluding page should generate only look-alike headers (" fake headers") without creating ToC entries for them.
Two parameters are available, one required, and one optional:

is the level number: valid values are 1 through 6. (alias: |sub=
