Working under the control of the Rhodesian Central Intelligence Organization (CIO), Rev. Arthur Kanodareka and his helpers supplied African guerilla recruits with poisoned uniforms. The men would die a slow death in the African bush. Ken Flower, the head of the CIO, later admitted that the CIO had organized his assassination, claiming that it was "rather as a hunter will finish off a wounded animal to stop further suffering"[1][2][3].
