Overview

Greetings and welcome to my homepage!

First of all, let me introduce myself. I have lived for about four years in Malaysia and currently living in Doha, Qatar. I have been roaming around Wikipedia looking for an article that requires editing since September 2009.

In my free time, I will go to Wikipedia to read any random article and modify it where necessary. Most of the time I will be at Simple English Wikipedia to expand stub or sub-stub articles and adding redirects.

My interest in Wikipedia began on August 2008 where I gradually depended on it to make some of my projects and researches. However it was not until a couple of months ago where I started to feel the need of helping Wikipedia in expanding its articles.

Ectophasia crassipennis is a species of fly in the family Tachinidae and the subfamily Phasiinae. It is present in southern Europe and warmer parts of central Europe. Adults can reach a length of about 5 to 9 millimetres (0.20 to 0.35 inches). Their large compound eyes are red, while the body varies between black and orange-brown, with large wings featuring wide brown or grey dots. Linking to non-Wikimedia wikis

You know normal links‍—‌they look [[like this]]. But did you know that you can use normal links to pages on any other wiki? This is called InterWiki linking, and applies to all wikis, not just Wikipedia's sister projects. You can link to a page on MeatballWiki by typing [[MeatBall:PageName]], for example. See Interwiki map.

However, links to Wikipedias in other languages are done a little differently. You can link to these by typing, for example, [[:de:Hauptseite]] (replace "de" with language prefix). The colon at the beginning prevents the link from becoming an interlanguage link, which shows up in the left sidebar.

To hide the prefix from the link, use the pipe trick.
