I am an independent art historian. My present area of research is sixteenth-century Dutch painters living in Tudor London.
German artist Gerlach Flicke lived, for a time, in London, where he would die in 1558.
Very little is known of this Tudor artist, although I hope to develop a page with all of the current research as well as some examples currently attributed to him.
Hans Eworth, Deposition (Rogier van der Weyden), Ambrogio Lorenzetti
Antonis Mor, Bothell, Sundridge, David Starkey, The Courtauld Gallery, John Luttrell (soldier)
