To me, Arbitration is a fairly serious matter and requires users with a proven track record of quality contribution and fair judgement. I vote support on Users that I have worked with and interacted with, and feel confident in their character. I am Neutral and do not vote on users whose names I recognise but I do not personally know well enough to form an opinion. However, on users whose names I do not recognise, I am voting Oppose. My feeling is that if I have not encountered your name in the several months that I have been on here, I personally don't know that you are a frequent enough contributor to understand policy and interact with users enough to be an Arbitrator. If you have been on Wikipedia a long time and have significant contributions, then I feel certain that those users who do know you will feel confident in your abilities and will support you, and the consensus will hopefully in the end make a wise decision.
