The Little Museum of Dublin is situated at 15 St. Stephens Green, Dublin, Ireland. It is located in an 18th century Georgian building.
A civic museum for the city of Dublin, it tells the story of the city in the 20th Century from a social, cultural, and political point of view. It provides visitors to the museum with intimate and informative glimpses into Dublin life from the years 1900 to 2000. [1] [2]
Partners of the museum include Dublin City Council, Dublin Regional Authority, and Fáilte Ireland.
The museum's collection will be completed with the help of the public. The museum asks local Dubliners to consider loaning or donating artefacts from the 20th Century. [3] [4] [5]
The civic initiative City of a Thousand Welcomes is also based in The Little Museum of Dublin.
