While my interests are quite diversified, there are some key areas that stand out.
Originally when I was growing up, I didn't have much. Didn't have a video game system until almost the end of junior high school, much less a computer. But I always had a strong interest in computers, or more specifically, Macintosh computers. During junior high school and high school, I worked inside the school computer labs as an assistant, slowly growing in experience with Macs. In 1996, my Dad got my family our first computer, which was a Quadra 800. Within a few years time, I had obtained additional older systems, and eventually purchased a new computer. By 2005, my collection of computers has grown immensly, now at 56 Macs and 1 PC.
I have always been a strong advocate of the Mac OS over Windows, and could possibly even be called a Mac zealot. This is the primary reason I have a large Mac collection, but only 1 PC.
As a side project, I have also been collecting prototype Macintoshes and other equipment. Several systems and components are in my collection, including:
Originally, I never watched much anime. In 2003, a friend of mine at work introduced me to anime by getting me to watch the series Naruto and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Since then, I have watched a great deal of anime, over 40 different series, including Air, Azumanga Daioh, Bleach, Cowboy Bebop, Excel Saga, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost In The Shell, Last Exile, Naruto, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Paranoia Agent, Ranma ½, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai Champloo, and Vandread.
On an average day, I'll read several webcomics, including but not limited to: El Goonish Shive, Megatokyo, Shortpacked!, Misfile, The Wotch, VG Cats, and Abstract Gender.
As stated on the right, English is my primary language. I have also taken Spanish through high school (up to Spanish III in HS), as well as in college (currently taking Spanish II), which gives me at least a basic ability to communicate in that language in some way. I can probably also translate Japanese to English with a great amount of difficulty, but I do recognize some basic words and kanji.
