Frederick Forsyth novel
of the same name . It is set to star
Eddie Redmayne , and be produced by
Ronan Bennett and directed by
Brian Kirk .
Premise
The adaptation has been reimagined into a contemporary political setting.

Production
The project for
Carnival Films with Sky and Peacock was announced in November 2022.
[2] The screenwriter Ronan Bennett was set as writer and showrunner, with Brian Kirk as the lead director.
[3] Eddie Redmayne was revealed to be executive producing the series alongside Carnival Films in April 2023.

Redmayne was revealed to be cast in March 2023.

Lashana Lynch joined the cast.

Filming for the series, taking in four countries and expected to last seven months, was started in June 2023.
