I object to the reversion of the change I just made (
[1])! Isn't it true that material on the humorous pages would be useful for someone researching Wikipedia joke culture (or something like that)? --

I think the "...(unless the research is about Wikipedia itself)." Bit should be removed. Humour articles by their very nature are not at all subject to the rigourous sourcing and consensus-building process of other articlespace or wikipediaspace articles, and should not be used for research whatsoever.

Actually, since there aen't that many humour articles in the first place, I don't think there is anything TO research. I agree with Starblind. --
