Editors who violate any listed restrictions may be blocked by any uninvolved administrator, even on a first offense.
An editor must be
aware before they can be sanctioned.
With respect to any reverting restrictions:
Edits made solely to enforce any clearly established consensus are exempt from all edit-warring restrictions. In order to be considered "clearly established" the consensus must be proven by prior talk-page discussion.
Edits made which remove or otherwise change any material placed by clearly established consensus, without first obtaining consensus to do so, may be treated in the same manner as clear vandalism.
Clear vandalism of any origin may be reverted without restriction.
Reverts of edits made by anonymous (IP) editors that are not vandalism are exempt from the 1RR but are subject to
the usual rules on edit warring. If you are in doubt, contact an administrator for assistance.
If you are unsure if your edit is appropriate, discuss it here on this talk page first. Remember: When in doubt, don't revert!
Formatting issues
First, the box should be narrower, perhaps 315px (328x456 now). Second, which template was this based off of? Third, wlinks are non-standard - could lead to unwanted or confusing behavior.~

User: ༆,
User:P123ct1,
User:TRAJAN 117 &
User:Atifabbasi8. There's two open threads discussing the formatting of this sidebar. One is at Village Pump/Technical
here and the other at
Talk:ISIL#History of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant infobox. ,
User:Gregkaye has reverted my change to use a normal link for ISIL
here because " "bold is not necesssary and spoils the layout". I tried a test edit of using {{no selflink}}here and tried previewing pages that it's used on, however as with other
Wikipedia:Article_series sidebars it's expected that when the page you are on is shown in the box it will show up as bold. It's currently being used on
ISIL and the self-link is blue and causes the page to reload and jump to the top. This isn't what should happen. Also, changes to this template should be discussed here as this template is now being transcluded on almost a dozen articles.~

"Great Seal of the Islamic State" is a proper name however I can not find a reliable source (or any source outside enwiki to confirm that this is the correct title. So without verification I'm going to change it to "Seal of the Islamic State" for now. FYI: To see list of other pages starting with "Great Seal of" click
here.~

Also, we have an article now on the
Flag of the Islamic State perhaps that could be included with the seal or in place of the seal. If this was series was about the government of ISIL then perhaps the seal would more appropriate for that. ~

Hilf al-Mutayyabin
On IS offical Vedio they said that Jama'at al-Tawhid wal-Jihad was established in 2003 and then AQI then MSC then Hilf al-Mutayyabin حلف المطيبين which was an alliance between MSC and Iraqi Sunni tribes and then the ISI.

So I think Hilf al-Mutayyabin should be in this list

Some of the lines in this sidebar make the entire box take up 397 pixels of width - this is problematic for some screen sizes in articles where the sidebar is included at the top of the article (eg
Destruction of cultural heritage by ISIL).
Many screen sizes on old laptops are only 1024 pixels wide.
