Should this ship
[1] be included in this template?

In this usage, "ironclad" means a capital ship, not necessarily any ship given armor protection. Rhein and Moselle were very small riverine warships and don't fit that description. They would be best included in a template that groups the coastal and riverine warships (for instance, the
Wespe class) of the Imperial Navy.
