This template is used in conjunction with {{VGmedia}} to display information about a video game or related medium in a stand-alone list of video game media. Not all parameters will be used. Different combinations of parameters are used to display different formats.

You can conduct experiments, and should test all major changes, in either this template's sandbox, the

Usage
General parameters
type: Used to define the type of medium. Supported values are "game", "canceled game", "animation film radio" (or just "animation", "film" or "radio"), "music", "book" and "other". If the parameter is not specified or set to an unsupported value, it will default to "other".
title: The title of the item. It is automatically bolded and italicized.
released: The item's original release dates by region. This uses {{vgrelease}}.
details: Any special noteworthy piece of information (developer's name, alternative titles, special milestones, etc.) Use a bulleted list and try to be as concise as possible.
For video games

platforms: Listing of platforms the game has been released on.
sales: Sales or shipment figures for the game. Prefer worldwide figures to regional ones, if available.
