Asian Games? Source:
Time: "is bidding to become Indonesia’s oldest Asian Games medal winner.". He won as per SCMP above
Overall: ALT3 is good to go.

The article is fascinating, densely referenced and well written. Total bytes have not increased fivefold. However, the non-infobox wordage has, just; so I am going to accept that. The nominator has offered a review as QPQ but it is not clear to me that they have already submitted four or more earlier DYK noms, so it may not be required. On the hooks, I do not like the use of "athlete", and ALT2 is, IMO, overly detailed. Can I suggest:
I would appreciate the nominator's opinion on this.

Some sources mention him as an athlete, so I would personally prefer an "athlete" there. Though, "medal winner" does imply an athlete so there's that.

Juxlos: As I said, I have issues with a bridge player being described as an "athlete". If you could come up with a RS, not a newspaper report but something from the AGF or the WBF or similar, describing them as athletes then obviously I would reconsider. Alternatively, if you are happy with ALT3, which as you say rather fudges the issue, then I am happy to approve the nomination.

Gog the Mild: The WBF mentions players as athletes
here. Though, let's go with ALT3 anyway - it flows better.

If you are happy with ALT3 then it is moot. ALT3 approved.
