Comment The figure is for her and her husband, no? He seems to be the one who has/made the money.

Johnbod Some reports also state she made the money through her husband's business and also through profits from her bookstore.

$815 million from a bookstore - doesn't sound very likely. Also, if the bookstore was doing so well, why join the insurance company?

I think she profited more from her work with insurance company, which is the fourth largest life insurer by premium income in China.

No doubt, in which case the husband needs to worked into the hook. Plus, $815 million doesn't make you/them a $ billionaire, just a ¥ one. And it's best not to use the symbol, risking confusion with the Japanese Yen.

Adequate sourcing: - A couple of concerns about the "Personal life" section. The article says "The couple had an extramarital relationship" with a wikilink to
Affair. Is this true? All I can find in the cited sources is "两人苦恋15年", which sounds like there were feelings in at least one direction but not necessarily an affair. I think we need more unambiguous sourcing for this claim, especially in a BLP. The claim that Kong's three children have "come under criticism due to it being a violation of the one-child policy" doesn't seem to be supported by the cited sources either.
Cited: - ALT0 has problems as discussed above. ALT1 doesn't seem to be supported by the source – the hook says RMB 3 billion, but the source says RMB 5 billion.
Interesting:
QPQ: - Still needed Overall: The article looks mostly good, but there are some issues that need attention. —

Mx. Granger and @
Johnbod. I made some corrections and edits based on the suggestions you made in the review. Check if the hook is good to go for DYK.

Toadboy123: Thanks! That's a big improvement. I've made a minor copyedit to ALT1, to clarify the currency conversion and fix what I assume was a typo. ALT1 looks good to me now. All that's needed is the QPQ. —
