Comment: Open to other hooks, though I'd like to avoid something that prominently mentions the 1964 election, as I intend on taking that to DYK separately.

Elli: Good article, but the hook isn't really that interesting to me. Can something else be proposed?

This is a comment, not a review, but it's probably even less interesting than the first hook since Rumsfeld may not be a name familiar to most non-Americans. The first at least has the Oppenheimer effect, although I agree that a better hook should probably be proposed.

Theleekycauldron: Alt2 actually sounds interesting, but suffers from the fact the article mentions he was near the top and not at THE top.
