Krisgabwoosh: Good article. However, while the hook says "one of the first professional historians" the article states "the first generation of professional historians" which I feel are two different things. A rewording would be nice.

Looking at the biographical dictionary I cited, only eight individuals, including Cajías, are noted as belonging to this "first generation," most being alumni to a single teacher. That would be my argument for keeping as is, but if you still think it should be changed, how about something like: "... who belongs to the first generation of professional historians ..."?
