Comment: I was originally aiming for International Women's Day, March 8, but I might be too late for that- if so, it can just go whenever.

Y Article is a GA, nominated in time (became GA on 1 March, nominated 2 March), and article is within policy
? ALT0 is unclear, as it refers to the government, and it wouldn't be clear to someone reading the hook which government this is (as not every Wikipedia reader is American). I recommend changing it to the U.S. government. For ALT2, didn't should be changed to did not, as per
MOS:CONTRACTION (this gets picked up quite a lot by DYK regulars, so someone else would likely complain about it if I didn't). Once changes are made, I can approve all these hooks- they are all fine for DYK, my slight personal preference would be ALT1
Y Image is PD in US (country of origin), used in the article, and looks good at low resolution
Y QPQ exempt, as the nominator has
1 previous DYK nomination
Aerin17 could you make the minor changes to the hooks that I suggested above? No other issues.

Fixed! (Assuming I did this properly- should I have rewritten the hooks separately or is editing them as is fine?) Thanks for the review.

Y Thanks for updating, editing the original hooks is fine. All three hooks are short enough, interesting enough, in the article and well cited. Approving all hooks, so promoter can choose
Overall, this nomination now passes, congratulations.
