Tashvir ( Persian: تشوير) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Tashvir Rural District of Gilvan District, Tarom County, Zanjan province, Iran. [4]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 1,241 in 298 households, when it was Gilvan Rural District of the Central District. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,255 people in 321 households. [6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 1,249 people in 378 households. [2]

In 2017, the rural district was separated from the district in the establishment of Gilvan District, which was divided into two rural districts, including the new Tashvir Rural District. [4]
