I saw that Lepus sinensis is called in Chinese "華南兔" ( zh:華南兔), and this is translated approximately as South China Rabbit. There isn't any species called "South Chinese hare" in English, as the name of the species in English is "Chinese hare". -- NGC 54 ( talk｜ contribs) 10:55, 13 October 2023 (UTC) reply
