this PDF for a diagram showing a map of Yale Dam with respect to Saddle Dam. Both are embankment dams but only Yale Dam generates electricity. Also, some Pacific Power news releases (
example) refer to Saddle Dam as "Yale Saddle Dam". To confuse matters further, a park named "Saddle Dam Park" is located adjacent to Saddle Dam near Yale Dam; road access to Yale Dam, however, is restricted to Pacific Power employees which may lead some familiar with Saddle Dam Park to confuse Saddle Dam with Yale Dam.
