Support Televisa Networks is the name of Televisa's pay TV channels, while Canal 5 is a national over-the-air network. The current name is misleading as it could be thought of as a pay TV network. Moreover, this channel, even before the national virtual channel rearrangement of 2016, had always been reffered and advertised nationwide as Canal 5 despite its analog channel position and other existing networks using VHF channel 5 (which was, together with the rest of the networks that did the same thing, the main reason for the virtual channel arrangement in the first place).
