Hi, I created this article as I've seen the magazines used as a resource for various aircraft articles - but it didn't have its own article! I have the complete set of magazines, so it seemed sensible to try it myself!

This is the first time I've created an article from scratch that's more than a couple of dozen lines long!

• • A further thought: when I have completed, I'll find where WAIF is used as a citation source in wikipedia, and link them to this page! Here is what I still want to do:

I believe that this part work is a signifant source of information about aircraft and related subjects.

As of 20th July 2009, there are 329 articles which use World Aircraft Information Files as a reference ( Perform search here).

Although it may have been superceded by later books, I think that the breadth of coverage makes this a suitable subject for an article. PhantomSteve ( Contact Me, My Contribs) 17:17, 20 July 2009 (UTC) reply
