Hi, I hope you like my improved version of the wordsearch diagram! Lenny 19:59, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
I think that external links should never show just any site. They need to expand on the encyclopedia aspects. When the page is about a company, external links should so their website, but there is no company here. Will ( Talk - contribs) 01:16, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
The article doesn't have any samples, so I think there should be some links to samples. Source code that creates the puzzles would be a very good idea. Software that makes the puzzles too, even if it's commercial, if it's notably good. -- 76.209.248.149 00:42, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
A long time ago, I seem to recall reading somewhere that people who made these puzzles had special strategies to stop the puzzles from being too easy - for example, have a group of letters in the grid that are similar to a word one is searching for, but which do not actually form the word. It was such a long time ago I read this that I have to apologise - I could not put it in! If any one does know anything of this, s/he is welcome to put it in the article. This article says that these puzzles appear in daily newspapers, but is that true? I seem to find that the crossword, the Sudoku and codewords (those puzzles where one has to work out what number represent which letters) are more likely to appear in newspapers - although these do appear in puzzle magazines. The word "WEEK" is on the list but doesn't appear to be in the word search. Instead, the word "SEEK" is in there, which would make more sense for the theme. Ron Stoppable ( talk) 06:12, 7 March 2020 (UTC)
